TBH my boi rengoku just got supremely hoed by his matchup he got the number 3 upper moon technically there are only three demons stronger than him and rengoku put up a solid fight mostly by himself so if I was to say I think he was stronger than tengen so like if rengoku had got that matchup against upper moon 6 I think he could've survived he just got unlucky

The series does not explain who is the strongest, weakest, fastest, slowest, smartest or dumbest hashira it does not state each and every hashiras specific unique skills therefore it’s not spoiler. So here is the rankings of the hashira strongest to weakest: 1. Gyomei ( Stone ) 2. Sanemi ( Wind ) 3. Obanai ( Snake ) 4. Giyu ( Water ) 5. Muichiro ( Mist ) 6. Rengoku ( Flame ) 7. Mitsuri ( Love ) 8. Tengen ( Sound ) 9. Shinobu ( insect ) Compared to the upper ranks All hashiras but shinobu would be able to beat upper 6 and upper 5 quite easily. Gyomei, Sanemi, Giyu, and Obanai would beat upper 4. Only Sanemi and Gyomei would be able to beat Upper 3. Upper 2 fight be a challenge for Gyomei. And finally for Upper 1 that’s a death sentence for the hashiras 💀

For Ron it’s KOKO-SHIBO and yea gyuutarou vs tengen seemed more difficult but realistically mitsuru vs hantengu/zohakuten was different because she had her mark and tengen didn’t and gaining a mark is a MAJOR upgrade for demon slayers kinda the equivalent of going super saiyan. 🫡🫡❤️❤️

Man, Tokito is so cute! 🥰🥰 How he's so damn serious all the time, but then as soon as he sees Tanjiro, he smiles and is happy 🥰😅 Tanjiro is really like Tokito's first real friend 🥺 And yes, I also have the feeling that this arc is not just something like the build-up arc to the final fight. (Since I don't know the manga, I have no idea if the next arc is already the final, but it feels like it in my opinion). But I also have the feeling that this arc is really there to get to know each Hashira better and for us starting to love them, so that in the end it becomes much more painful to lose any of them. I also believe that not all Hashira will survive in the end 😢😢

yeah I did. And I read the manga too lol. I appreciate this calm before the storm where we get to see the characters relax and have some fun. It was nice seeing Tokito like this knowing what he has been through. The arc was very short and rushed in the manga. With the anime we are really getting something out of it with nice scenes like that, bonding moments with the hashira and additional info.

Have you heard the story of the rabbit and turtle race? Getting cocky can lead to losing wether you were trying or not. It's anime, power spikes do happen sometimes right before death, I can also go into Manga spoilers on that but I won't. As for it not being THAT much damage that's true, it wasn't. But in this world where demons can heal from anything except neck slicing that's the best we can have, and again that damage almost got him killed. That wasn't cockyness at the end of the fight it was fear

Yes, you're right it did happen, but you also have to look at it like, to an extent, he let it happen. There were multiple instances shown that the blade didn't slice through Akaza's arms, and when they were sliced off, he was simply smiling because he was having fun. He knows the swords themselves aren't a threat unless it's at the neck, so why should he worry about arms or legs or a torso? You play to your strengths and one of them to a demon is regeneration. As for the almost-decapitation, to be fair, you don't expect someone to all of a sudden gain a strength boost while on death's door with a whole fist in your abdomen. I'm keeping this reply spoiler free because I can go into a whole tangent about why it was a lot more one sided than you think it was and there honestly wasn't THAT much damage done

If you were to compare the Hashira to the moons, Gyomei (the stone hashira) would be the equivalent the upper moon 1. He is definitely the strongest one, along with Sanemi (the wind hashira) who would be 2. That being said, the upper demons are much stronger than what would be their hashira equivalents.

Because they don’t know where they are, and even if they did, all hashira and swordsmen in one place would put both the upper moon in a very bad position and it would leave muzan with only akaza until he can make stronger demons which takes months.. I suppose you read the manga, if not, stop reading from here… (A little more down just in case) That’s why muzan did not send anyone to the demon slayer corps and instead, he showed up himself to take care of the leader.. he knew what would happened if he did that, but he’s the only one who can actually survive all hashira..

Infinity. Sunrise was just ass pulls and disappointment

Infinity Castle arc which is next. It's, imo, probably one of the best war arcs in all anime. Also, the arc in which the manga sales popped off breaking records.
