I had more to add about how things could be adapted to make things look more mysterious and less like plot holes within the moment when it comes to adaptation and writing but it may not be worth explaining to him I guess. I think if you don't know the manga, everything about the anime is still very entertaining, I also enjoyed season 3, even though many people don't like it because the animation is different and the anime seems to differ a lot from the manga. And I mean, you can always read the manga afterwards if you're interested. And the main character's name is Kaneki, by the way 😂

But i love that you do it actually :D since im a Nakama (one piece friend) anyway i'll rest on ur channel for some years i guess and Toky Ghoul IS whatever someone says an OG anime. I liked it especially the 1t Season is one of the best ways to start into anime and feel that spice. Season2/3 just differ from the manga (manga is one of the most recommended Manga to look for with One Piece and Berserk) but the show stays quite good anyway. Love these EPs, at all S1 is so fckn good i think. And the show really fits ur reactionstyle too.

Season 2 was good but disappointed the manga readers since the story went out of plot and did not follow the original. I understand how manga readers feel cause it made us wonder how are they going to link back to the original story. So came season 3 which only made me sigh. 😕 If you are an anime only, it was still acceptable. I wouldn't stop you from watching the 3 seasons since you are not a manga reader but I will highly recommend you to read the manga. It's better than the anime.

But it doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the anime, till this day I love the anime. If I have to choose between the two, of course I will choose the manga because the flow was better. But like I said I still enjoyed the anime even though parts of it is different from the manga, I just think of it as a standalone thing. So whatever you guys decide to do I’ll go for it! :)

But still at the very least this anime gives us one of the most iconic opening song in Anime. Also the VA for Kaneki is the same one as Tanjiro and Rize is the same as Mitsuri Kanroji.

About the guy at the end of the episode - Ron is right he's the same guy earlier in the episode who was in the same scene as Hide. He isn't Hide's brother, he's just in their circle. You'll learn more about who he is as you watch. Regarding the seasons, seasons 1 and 2 are solid. For the most part I see people say it falls off after season 3. You guys watching the first two seasons is fair. Perfect show to watch after Parasyte, excited for this journey

I think there has to be some special way for regular people to fight ghouls - otherwise they'd be the dominant species right? so there must be some special tools/weapons with enchantments or some kind of properties akin to jjk's cursed tools - and I assume the equivalent to jjk's sorcerers operated on her to save him - but why? he's not really anybody special (unless he is) OR. Maybe the thirsty bitch was someone special, and it was GHOULS who operated on him, because there's something special about her abilities and they need to preserve them in some living vessel. Yeah that makes way more sense. I don't even think he was operated on at all at the hospital now that I think about it. I think the ghouls got to him, transplanted the organs, and then either brought him to a hospital or dipped. Because when he woke up he didn't have bandages on his neck where homegirl removed a chunk. I think he just healed

When I first watched this there was only 2 seasons out and when the following seasons came out, I was a bit bored and just didn't bother watching the rest, but I ended up reading the manga after season 2 and I am now proud to say it is one of my favorites!! I ended up buying the whole manga collection, so again I really recommend reading it if you don't go past season 2, it's an absolutely amazing story!! hope you guys have fun with this journey, can't wait to watch more!

2024-06-02 01:18:25 +0000 UTCYeah I understand, and at the same time it's a shame, because, season 2 took another path that is different from season 3 so you can't understand :Re without reading the begining That said, honestly, you won't "hate" s2 after reading the manga (i don't at least XD), if you have commun sense and moderation, you'll just understand why manga readers hated it And then the beauty of it is that you could enjoy Tokyo Ghoul :Re in manga and it is pure ART The :Re series is the first manga I bought, because it was so beautiful and profound that I wanted to be able to go back to it anytime I needed to Just go for it, you won't be disappointed ;)

As for going beyond season 2, I don't really care one way or another. Season 3 was different, not better than 1&2, but also not bad per say. And season 4 was my least favorite because it was very different and took some getting used to. I wouldn't say I hated it though. I didn't read the manga.

2024-06-02 00:55:04 +0000 UTCYeah I watch season 2 before reading the manga and i find it really good, but afterwards I understand why it received critics The problem with season 3 is that it picks up after the manga despite the fact that season 2 is different from the manga so it's normal that people were confused And for me you loved Tokyo Ghoul :Re in manga, I really felt, that season 3 took almost everything that was good in the manga and removed it from the show it made me so sad XD
