magic king is like the head of the magic military and the royal king is just like diplomacy and rulling . in addtion anyone of royal blood has crazy amount of magic but might not use it for military purposes . the magic king tho is the strongest mage who did the whole militray magih knight thing not nencecery royalty . that why astz belives who could becume the magic king as itsn not for sure a royal .

In previous episodes when they introduced the other magic knight squads they said Golden Dawn is comprised only of royalty, and royalty is regarded as the most powerful as they just have huge mana reserves due to their bloodline (thats not to say royalty automatically wins every battle just their default potential is larger than standard people). So it's both a status thing and a general strength thing. Sure someone can be better at their own magic control or trained harder than royalty, but without those considerations the "worse" royalty is still "better" than non-royalty, its a genetically unfair advantage.

Everyone has magic, Asta is just an anomaly. How? We don't know about that yet in this episode. And they already mentioned that royalties and nobles are usually the one with strong magic compared to commoners and even those lower in status. That's why everyone is fascinated with Yuno more than Asta. Yami also pointed out why none of the captains picked him back in the exam, aside from having no mana, the source of his "magic" or grimoire is unknown. I think you should take note of these things if ever you wanted to make a theories Ps. you can guess which squad the person is if you look at their robe (we overlooked this sometimes 😂)

The red hair girl was someone different whom you'll meet later. For the King and Wizard King if you think about it in terms of Naruto logic then the King is like the Feudal Lord and the Wizard King is like the Hokage. So the actual King out ranks the Wizard King. Just like in Naruto the various Kage report to their respective Feudal Lord in Black Clover the Wizard King reports to the King.
