It showed that he was now thinking on AFOs level instead of his own and actually analyzing fights and his opponents quirk. It showed that he has developed the ability to read situations better, respond to them, and develop a counter.

She could have set the rule “Cathleen will not lose new order” and then “Cathleen will not decay” but she chose not to.

I haven't read the manga and its kind of a shitty move to announce that someone is no longer significant to the rest of the story we have yet to watch. She cant say X person ceases to exists, she actually has to touch them and say something like the heart will stop if x happens.

No air = wings push against nonthing, turbines stop burning, propellers don't displace anything, airfoils don' generate lift. All the ways we fly on earth need air. that's why he started plummeting immediately. It was basically twofold - first to catch him off guard and panic because he can't breathe/speak, secondly it makes him fall like dead weight for a short period of time so she can predict exactly where he's going to be

Her non-appearance or survival wouldn't have made sense tbh. She's very close though last season they said Shiggy's new body is as strong as prime all might while his quirks were erased. And star was keeping up with him physically here.
