I will continue to say this, Danzo is the goat. He will do anything to protect the leaf, he's more devoted to the village than anyone else thats alive. It's the same with floch from AOT, who's also one of the best characters in that show. Absolute loyalty to the cause, whatever it takes type mentality. Tsunade has always been weak, and was never fit to be hokage, Danzo understood that early and made the move, as he should. What he ordered Itachi to do to the Uchiha wasn't wrong exactly, since the Uchiha were planning on going crazy on the village, he had to deal with them, it's a shame that it was Itachi. A reminder for Ron of the Mangekyo Sharingan abilities: Itachi: Amaterasu in one eye, Tsukuyomi in the other eye (the torture nightmare realm genjutsu he used on Kakashi and Sasuke) and when both eyes activated Susano'o (the big red armored giant) Sasuke:Amaterasu in one eye, with his other eye he can manipulate the Amateraus flames and make a shield of it, and with both eyes he has also Susano'o but Sasuke's is purple while Itachi's was red. Kakashi: Kamui, the black hole in he used vs Deidara and Pain to get rid of the missile chasing Choji and the nail. Because Kakashi only has one sharingan, he cannot use Susano'o as Sasuke confirmed Susano'o is only possible to use when you activate both eyes. Based off what you guys know up to this point, and what was told, Zetsu's sporulation jutsu plants a seed-like clone onto a host. You don't know why yet, but currently, you know that these spores are very hard to detect and most people cannot notice or sense them (even sensory types like Fu, the orange-haired bodyguard of Danzo). You have also seen these spores can absorb a host's chakra, give a host chakra, and even grow into a clone of Zetsu. At the Five Kage Summit, when Zetsu released the spores, he set the jutsu up with a time-delay so that the spores would grow after a certain amount of time had passed (that's why they all grew at the same time). As they grow, they steal the victim's chakra, which, if the victim does not remove the parasitic clone, will ultimately drain their chakra (which would kill a shinobi). Although it can be used to kill an enemy, if they don't remove the spore after it had begun growing, the jutsu has other uses that don't involve killing or harming a person.

Man you all must have forgot the Uchiha clan was going to do a coup d'état of the Hidden Leaf which is what lead Danzo to have them all wipe out so they weren't innocent. The 3rd Hokage was trying to come to a peaceful solution but ran out of time. So Danzo isn't all bad since he did what he did to try to save the Hidden Leaf.

They'll explain Danzo arm in the next few episodes About the Mangekyo, we know from Itachi that they are very very rare, so far only 5 people have shown to have aweken it, Madara, Madaras brother, Itachi, Sasuke and Kakashi. Each eye has a different ability, for Itachi its Amaterasu in one eye and Tsukuyomi on the other, for Sasuke is Amaterasu on one and the ability to control Amaterasu on the other, for Kakashi the ability to make objects disappear when he sees them, no more info on it yet, no info for either Madara or Madara bother. And finally Susano has manifested in both sasuke and Itachi after the unique ability of each eye was used

Ron, try not to find too much real world scientific and physiological logic when it comes to anime. I've noticed a lot of times you're baffled and get a bit too focused/carried away at how certain things are possible with characters, their abilities, their powers etc and I think it's affecting your ability to fully embrace certain moments in this show (and some other anime). For instance, Michelle immediately reacted to seeing Danzo exposing an arm full of sharingan with how evil he is, while your immediate reaction was more focused on how is he going to use the arm because eyes are not supposed to be on arms. You have to learn to watch anime with a lot grace when it comes to real physics, biology, anatomy etc, etc. Not saying you shouldn't be curious or want to know things (like the backstory about the arm with sharingan eyes) to help be engaged with the show and add context. But I've noticed the "this should not be possible" "this doesn't make sense" type reactions from you not just with Naruto, but other shows too and taking that logical approach will more often than not, take away from how much you can enjoy anime in general. Hope this feedback doesn't come off rude as it is not meant to be that way!

Ya'll had me kicking my feet asking why Danzo wanted the Byukugan. 😂 Yeah, okay, so like, rewatching this made me feel so, so, bad for Naruto because...he wants to save Sasuke badly, he wants his friend back, he wants that bond back. But everyone is telling him "let him go/forget him/kill him" because they care about Naruto SO MUCH. Gaara, Sai, Sakura, Shikamaru....they really cherish Naruto. And even with Sakura, I hate it for her. She was doing what she thought might work, she wanted to at least try. She was prepared for Naruto to hate her anyway, since she committed to killing his bro. In this moment, Naruto's emotional & mental well-being trumped her love for Sasuke but it also solidified her true love for Sasuke in her commitment to kill him so he wouldn't be what he is now. Like, why is this all hitting me so hard after (looks at watch), 13~15 years??? 😭😩 Don't mind me, I'm just in my feelings for no reason.

Essentially what the Zetsu clones are doing are latching onto the host which allows them to copy the exact chakra signature of the host, hence being able to go unnoticed. From this point they can do many things; Extract chakra from the host, grant chakra to the host, etc. A few more other things as well that will be explained in the future but this is based on what we know now.
