Yes Uchiha and senju are direct descendants of the sons of six paths, but think of it as branching off on the family tree. Thats why he can fly. The biggest issue I have here (and the issue I have with most of how she's written tbh), is that for all we're told how smart she is, it just wasn't thought through at all. Manga did this part better imo, Sai is really the one to blame. He clearly manipulated Sakura's guilt. He essentially manipulated her into attempting to manipulate Naruto, which only someone as emotionless as Sai would do. People tend to ignore Sai's manipulation and instigation and call Sakura a terrible person. Really, I think Sakura loves Naruto like a close friend and she was guilt ridden and tried the only way she thought could back him down from going after Sasuke. Her big mistake was thinking that Naruto was only doing it for her and not for himself as well. Had she realized that she wouldn't have pulled this poor tactic.

I bet my ass 80% of the people in the comments were confused and had false theories when they initially watched it, I know I had. It's easy to say in hindsight "oh you missed that clue and detail", which is why I don't judge but rather sit back and enjoy and help keep Ron and Michelle on track if they mistake, by utilizing INFORMATION THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN PROVIDED, so no spoilers about future clues. Exactly, people forgot that Naruto writer attempted to add lot of realism to the show for example "Sakura inner person" he tried to show how most of the real women thinks sometimes, when you are in relationships you will understand that most of the women are like her or even worse than her, compared to majority of real women Sakura is a gem! There is actually a light novel called akatsuki hiden that gives background details about all of the akatsuki members. I think some of the parts may be animated in fillers but if you are looking for more background on the akatsuki that’s a great thing to read once you finish shippuden.

To be fair, Sakura was only doing what she thought would ease Narutos burden of keeping his promise to her. Hate her if you want, but actual murderers are forgiven more by this fanbase. Yeah it wasn't the right move, but she is far from the worse. Oro kidnapped and experimented on kids, killed Lord Third, and drove Sasuske further away. Pain killed Jiraiya. Sakura isn't that bad.

regarding ron's topic in the beginning - the only reactors i personally think get it right are jdanime (not saying yall dont! i also enjoy yalls format). they dont talk too much during the episode but often have 30+ minute convos after each reaction and go back and rewatch clips if they were confused after it's done. they even write down topics/characters when first introduced in case it comes up 100+ episodes later. but ofc then ppl complain "if you have enough time to have 30-50 minute convos, just react to more episodes!!!" so no matter what (talk during episode, talk after episode, a combination of both) ppl are going to assume youre doing something poorly and complain. im glad yall stick w the format that works for yall!

as for why the old guy can fly - i could tell you buy it'd be a spoiler. i CAN say that there IS a justifiable reason, it's just this is our first exposure to ALL of the other ninja tribes as well as the other kage. Different regions have different natures and let's not forget, different forbidden jutsu. If we were watching from the earth villages perspective and we see kakashi and sasuke bust out the chidori, and naruto literally throwing a giant rasenshuriken for the first time, we'd be like HOLD UP HOW? and that's what you're meant to think about the old guy. But it IS gonna be explained

Sakura had pure intentions, bad approach. She definitely wasn't intentionally trying to hurt Naruto by using his feeling for her as a manipulation tactic. In her mind, Naruto is only going this hard because of his promise to her and because he doesn't want to let her down. So, in her mind, she's taking the burden off of her friend by doing this. But at the same time...it's a fucked up approach because Naruto has genuine feelings for her, but it's not mutual in a romantic sense, and she knows this. I'm not a Sakura hater, but this was a low for her for sure.
