The issue is that it’s not “fine” for Shoot and Knuckle to run away. It puts everyone at risk. Their job (along with everyone else’s) is to keep the royal guard busy and away from the king at all costs while Netero fights him without worrying about the Royal guard intervening. Leaving Youpi to roam and unaccounted for puts everyone in danger.
