Gon and Killua seem so weak right now. I just don't get how they can get so much stronger in such short time. Don't spoil anything. Just sharing my thoughts.

It just doesn't get fixed overnight, we all thought Killua overcame it from his monologue and that epic music going on but in the end his body won't listen. It just goes to show that overcoming kind of thing takes time and with slow progress.

2023-12-16 22:38:26 +0000 UTCConsider this, Killua was an assassin, has a family of assassins, so naturally was raised with the upbringing and ruleset an assassin would traditionally abide by, not a hunter. Hunters and Assassins don't think or operate by the same book. Assassins are all about precision, stealth, success of a specific objective. They're not willing to put it all on the line at the cost of their life, cause then how are they compensated? The whole point is that they kill a target, and are rewarded in return. Hunters on the other hand aren't really bound to a strict code like assassins are. They have the freedom to pretty much do whatever they want, think selfishly, prioritize personal goals, think more irrationally etc. They are in two different fields of work. So yeah, Killua is just a product of his environment. Also killua's family, including Illumi truly does love him even though it may not seem like it. It's just in a bit of a toxic and smothering way like the show said.
