Can’t wait for season 2 I don’t think yall should watch veladoras journal as it’s a recap anyways great reaction and season 2 is the best you won’t be disappointed

2023-12-10 12:13:26 +0000 UTCHope you saw my comment for previous episode. - Episode 24.5 Veldora Journal you can skip since it's recap. - Episode 24.9 is also recap but you can just watch the first 2 min and last 2min from 21min mark for some highlight of the short hair woman you saw at the end spying on Rimuru. - Recommended for you to watch the OVAs but you can still watch Season 2 first. S2 gets more exciting and serious, is what I can say. So Kuro is black in Japanese. Also what you understand from episode 24 is correct. The Kingdom is controlled by a fake hero who is actually a demon with all the lower demons faking as foot soldiers. They gather and kill adventurers and heroes to power up themselves. The Silver Wings heroes got tricked by the demons. They escaped but on the verge of death they summoned 'Kuro' the demon to get revenge and kill the demon who tricked them and sacrificed their soul and body as compensation for their request. The compensation was only enough to allow Kuro the demon to stay for 3 days. There were some info dropped of arch demons and the names they have from different colors. That's all and can't wait for S2!!! XD

The man trusted his instincts and wanted to leave and got killed by the guards, then they tried to pretend he was demon, by summoning one on right top of his dead body. So to say "he kinda deserved it" is wrong. No one who thinks a mission is suspect and doesn't want to do it is a coward, let alone deserves to die.

There's no real reason to insist on watching them now if you are excited to just move along to the 2nd season, it's just that they expand on characters(at least with the OVA episodes 3-5), and it would be sad if you guys never got around to watching them. Also, when and if you get around to watching them, just remember that they take place during the period of time where Rimuru was still with the kids.

You might find the episode as Ep24.9 of Season 1 or Ep0 of Season 2 based on what platform you're watching on. It is also a recap but the first 2 minutes has new content so you can watch until the intro song and go into episode 1 of Season 2 after that. Also recommend giving OAD's and Slime Diaries a watch. (Slime Diaries called Tensura Nikki in Japanese)
