Not sure if you noticed, but there are Easter Eggs in the anime and Manga so Patty the cook when in the bathroom, Eiichiro Oda the One Piece manga creator's name was on the mirror. Another Easter Egg you can look out for in the anime is Pandaman. There are other Easter Eggs that you will find later and once you caught up on the anime maybe you wanna go back to the Live Action to see checkout the Easter Eggs in the Live Action. Haha^^

If they do anything, I feel like they should just do what that one commenter suggested a few episodes back and react to The Breathtaking World of One Piece video. That amv gets you hyped as hell for the journey and wouldn’t spoil nearly as much as the OPs would.

His name also means liar in japanese, but is also a play on words with aesobs fables, where one of the stories in there is "the boy who cried wolf". Obviously he is the boy who cried wolf. There are many layers like this to so many characters in One Piece, so never think that one of your ideas you pick up on are too stupid <3

Obviously your going to see characters you havnt seen yet but it doesnt take away from what makes one piece so enjoyable, it only adds to it.

Also yes, Sanji is your usual anime simp, he's really strong and cool but has he's flaw which is women but he's still cool and strong regardless.

2023-12-02 04:24:18 +0000 UTCTwo things that are spoiler free: Ghin in English is pronounced the same as Djinn. I like to think he is directly a servant of a demon regardless of his own beliefs. Second: Oda believed Sanji was too like-able and decided to add a flaw, the way that Zoro is an alcoholic. Sanji is slightly misogynistic, yet mixed with chivalry. Take what he says with a grain of salt. Try not to let it subtract from him as a person and his character development. Eventually with his back story (past episode 820) it will start to make more sense and add context. Good luck holding on until then😅😂.

Most of the openings don’t really show anything that actually happens in the Anime and have nothing much to do with the plot and by the time yous catch up you’ll definitely have forgotten all of it anyways since it’s a lot of Episodes. It’s just a nice way to see how each arc just has better Animation and quality. It’ll get you more hyped and excited

I understand why he’d be against it though, because The East Blue is a very small pond and not on someone like Garps level. There’s way more important things he needs to be doing as a Marine Vice-Admiral tbh

So they brought Garp & Koby way earlier and made them chase the Strawhats so you can also see that Koby evolves too.
