THE WHOLE POINT of this training for Naruto is to complete that step of adding chakra nature to the Rasengan because nobody was able to do it before ever that's why its incomplete.

Basically Kakashi can't apply his lighting element to a sphere. So he creates large amount of lighting chakra and uses shape manipulation to turn it into an electric flow, he can adjust the power and range of the flow. It's easier to apply elemental to the shape of an electric flow of chakra (less concentrated, more free, lighter) than a very smooth sphere containing a very heavy rotational force. Rasengan is a technique that actually uses the highest skills of shape manipulation.

It's normal to see chinese characters in japanese or korean, some korean history book was written in chinese, their names on ID was also written in chinese, but nowadays korea is quiting using chinese characters, but kanji still exsist in japanese, and I think they will keep using it. Writing 正 is a really common way to count days in asia~

2023-11-30 13:56:54 +0000 UTCBtw, yes, ancient chinese kanji is the base of both korean and japanese characters. so a lot of their writing/characters are still used in both korea and japan to this day, depending on situation/context/purpose. and that particular symbol for tally marks literally means "5" in chinese and japanese. Think of it this way Ron, the western way to count to 5 with tally marks, is not just used in America, but in most european countries as well. ^^

2023-11-30 13:04:58 +0000 UTCAbout Kakashi knowing Rasengan, this has been mentioned already in OG Naruto when Naruto learned it so it's not a spoiler just piecing things together. The 4th Hokage created Rasengan. Jiraiya was 4th Hokage's teacher and he learned it from his student, the 4th. Kakashi was the student of the 4th hokage, so it can be assumed that he at some point taught it to Kakashi too. So basically, the 4th taught it to his master Jiraiya and his student, Kakashi. You may ask why Kakashi never uses Rasengan, well he technically does. His signature move Chidori/Raikiri is basically adding the lightning element to a Rasengan, as he explained earlier

Hundreds of people have had the sharingan in history, but the sharingan only allows you to copy a jutsu if you are able to master it. Kakashi was only able to copy hundreds of jutsus because of how much of a genius he is, and the fact that he can use 4 different change in nature proves just how much he stands out even among uchiha.
