So the 4th form represents some part of the body of Kyuubi (9th tail). You will understand more in 100 episodes. I do not think this is a spoiler for you in any way.

2023-11-02 05:03:54 +0000 UTCI agree with you Ron, I'm not too crazy about this form of Naruto either :p When he had a smaller part of nine tails chakra flowing out in season 1 it was more hype coz it was like seeing him get a little beast-ly and it was cool. With this form more than anything I'm just worried coz it seems like the dark redness of the form is coming his blood and skin being broken down due to the sheer massive amount of raw ninetails chakra leaking from him. Thinking about it and that scene from a few episodes ago incites that image of gore but just looking at it without that context, it's not that great :p

2023-11-02 03:14:33 +0000 UTCThe red of this version of naruto/ninetails is his blood, supposedly. His skin was shredded away so the red/black scratch marks are supposed to be his boiling blood and muscle shown in anime style more or less, as well as the poison attributes it possesses

I think what they were going for with the design wasn't so much as naruto taking the form of the ninetails though, and more of like, the raw ninetails chakra just trying to force its way out of naruto's body, so they went with a less physically defined design

Like his body proportions, the coloring, even the shape of his fox ears are slightly different.
