I didn’t say it was a fact. I know I didn’t use the word “opinion” but what I meant was, when people voice their opinion of One Piece being better than Naruto. The Naruto fans who barely got past not even a quarter of the One Piece story tend to say we’re chatting rubbish as if they know everything about One Piece. I guarantee you that nearly every One Piece fan (like me) have also watched Naruto and we always admit it’s good, but if it’s the other way around of someone who watched all of Naruto and 20 episodes - about half of One Piece without it being completed yet, they’ll shit on it.

Honestly, the original makes more sense. All the older anime have crazy pacing at points, and ppl that take issues with certain arcs. ITS BETTER TO ENJOY THE JOURNEY FOR WHAT IT IS. They are watching Naruto.....they know what flashbacks and slow paced episodes are lmao they will survive. Yall just don't want them to have a bad impression, but from my experience watching, they usually learn to appreciate the shows they watch taking in the good and bad. Besides, these anime shows came out in the 90s and early 2000s......MOST of our shows were like that at the time....it comes with the territory. At least NOW they can watch at their own pace instead of the way it originally aired, and they can fast forward when need be. Enjoy your experience!

One Pace is only good in the 600s-700s it’s not necessary early on. Also me as a manga reader am definitely watching along, their reactions to all the iconic moments of each arc is gonna be lit 🔥

its unfortunately more than a bit slow. At one point they animated less than 1 manga chapter per episode on average when it used to be 2-5 chapters per episode. Despite that though, once you catch up, all you want is more episodes

Welcome to the journey! Yes, the pacing is slow for anime but it's the only Shonen anime that still being aired on Sunday morning in Japan, which means kids these days also still watching. It's still easy for kids to understand the story, while adults also can enjoy it. I've been to many manga and anime events in Japan, but I think none of the booths are packed with so many diverse ages other than One Piece. And with this pacing, I guess it's easier for anime reactors to react and talk, while digest the story. The manga is always the best, but anime is the next medium that I prefer for the adaptation!

Enjoy the journey! Hope the mods/editors recommend good spots to switch to One Pace in the future. Judging by your Naruto reactions, you guys do get frustrated over scenes dragging... Which is something One Piece does A LOT later on in the series. I personally feel a lot of people who dont recommend One Pace has nvr watched One Pace altogether with original One Piece and just wants people to suffer and trauma bond over watching 1k+ episodes of One Piece.

Yes, one big advise I would say is just enjoy the ride, there will be some issues here and there with pacing or recaps like many mentioned but it was all pushed aside for me because of the loving and amazing characters and its world, like I could just watch them being in the ship doing nothing and be happy with it, cannot wait for this ride with you all.

As someone who reads One Piece manga weekly. I’m super excited to rewatch my favourite story with my favourite reaction channel iwl. You’re in for a beautiful but also a rollercoaster of a ride. Even the newest chapter that came out this week was mind blowing and felt brand new and it’s 1096 chapters in. One thing I suggest is that you guys try to pay attention to even the smallest details which can shockingly (in a good way) become so important to the story 50-100 episodes later. The lore and storytelling in this is by far the best in any anime I’ve watched, in my opinion. Gonna enjoy the journey again with you guys. 🔥🙌🏾

Hey guys. I'm sure it will be awesome, but I honestly think you should use the same format as Naruto, with 2 episodes per upload. One Piece has now more than 1000 episodes and being an older Anime, the rhythm is slower ( as you may have noticed in Naruto). Just a thought.
