2023-10-22 10:32:39 +0000 UTCI was once like you guys back in 2017 I said to my friends who watched One Piece as at that time One Piece was at Episode 700-800+ around there so I told them "man One Piece is too long" but I decided to pick up One Piece and it blew my mind and became my favorite Anime till this day and it's worth it as a guy who experienced of being blind to the one piece world to become a person that love One Piece don't ruined your journey by going to the One Pace Route, one piece is an adventure you have to enjoy every moment good or bad because when you caught up to the anime you will be like "damn can't wait for next week or two" which will make you itching to know whats going to happened so take your time on this One Piece journey don't rush it learn the World of One Piece, The Lore's, The Characters, the world buildings, I can tell you may be a long ride but it's worth it, Sure you can watch The One Pace version but where's the fun in that just to speed through to the latest arc just remember it's the journey and the adventure what's count not the destination with that being said Can't wait for you guys to react One Piece Anime 🔥🔥🔥

To put it into perspective no other reactor on Youtube has reacted to One Pace for the beginning of the story and there is a great reason why. One Piece gets terrible pacing after episode 600. I would consider using One Pace for some later arcs. I have watched OP 6x over and am currently watching again with my Fiance. I will help you with any One Piece questions you may have going forward (spoiler free ofc). Also watch it in subbed. English dubbed One Piece is terrible and will really kill the emotion for you Here to help!

The pacing gets bad like 600 episodes in, and I would recommend One Pace for a specific arc, but as long as you're watching like 3 eps at a time it'll be fine in the normal anime. People exaggerate the pacing because they watch weekly. I binged the fk out of One Piece when I started and was addicted :)

I'm not sure what is One pace but from the comments of many, they seem to recommend to follow the filler list and skip fillers instead. I've only watched the anime as per normal and also reading the manga. The pacing of One Piece anime can be slow but I think I would go with skipping fillers instead of One pace as it may break the flow of the show. I'm so looking forward to you guys watching the One Piece anime!!!😊❤️❤️❤️

Personally I don’t think it’ll affect emotionally but that might just be me cuz I’m caught up in the manga. Ultimately i do want you guys to watch the original but as a reactor i do understand dipping into one pace, its not as horrid as other people are saying, its pretty good.

In the Live Action he gives off “innocent” “Naive” little kid vibes but the real Luffy is more of a badass who let’s his fists do the talking 😂

You'll probably not get emotionally attached to the show character's since the fillers gives you more of the crew or character development faster than the show/manga itself! You can definitely fly through the manga, I started reading the manga (currently at ch 832) after I got caught up with watching the anime (I tend to read the manga after I get caught in the anime) I definitely agree with the other commenters that its better to just watch the original anime (if you’re not going to read it) because the earlier episodes especially are filled with goofy moments that are enjoyable. I do agree there are slow moments due to pacing issues but still worth the complete journey, and the only filler most recommend is G8 Either way super excited that y’all are starting this journey 😊

For the first few hundred episodes One Piece literally has normal pacing (with One Pace cutting down the early arcs by only 5-10%) e.g. the 8-hour-Live-Action 'covered': 15 hours of the anime vs. 14 hours w/One Pace When people recommend One Pace it's usually because they think of 1 or 2 arc in particular, where One Pace was able to cut down by 30+%, but, as already said, that is ep600+ territory

Not trying to be negative not every anime is for everyone...but One Piece just feels too child like for me...Like detective Conan or Blues Clues...or any other children anything that takes FOREVER to get to the point. FYI i am aware that Shounen is a young male audience, but seriously...look at the majority of shounen, they are expecting kids to "grow" and age....they age the anime with the audience... TBH i was hoping the big annoucement was Michelle was pregnant....but i was disappointed...

I get a lot of people who have an issue with the pacing/slow start and amount of episode but I feel like that what made journey special for me watching all these episode waiting each week for new ones to come up with a lot of great arcs. It really cuts out the whole atmosphere of being a cozy adventure, and many plot elements. That impatience I believe goes against the spirit of the series which is to enjoy the journey and soak in the world and relationships as much as possible. One Pieces length goes and slowness goes from a curse to a blessing that you don't want to stop. You want to check back with old characters. Hear classic music, see updated Flashbacks etc.

2023-10-21 01:29:31 +0000 UTCI started the anime literally after i finished the LA and honestly i think its one of my favorite animes ive ever watched already lol im like at the 80 ep mark now. im super excited for you guys to watch but i agree with a lot of comments that id rather you'd watch the anime itself and not one pace. at least not right away. ive just heard a lot of iffy things about it. i think yes the pacing may get bad but also i wouldn't want you guys to miss out on seeing things that could potentially get cut out in one pace bc this anime is SUPER funny tbh and i heard it cuts out a lot of like funny scenes. idk i just feel like the emotions won't get through to you the same if you watch one pace. ultimately its up to you and i'll watch your reactions either way! just want you guys to have fun on this one piece journey bc i definitely am!!!!

I can see why some people don't mind fillers, but the thing about One Piece, is that there are not as many fillers, but instead, every episode just has a lot slower pace. So when watching One Pace, you often just skip long drawn out panning shots, and other random repeated scenes, that add no real value to the show. Also, personally I find it very hard at times to even convince myself to continue with One Piece, because of the slow pace at some points. So if I can't get myself to get up to date with the show, then I can't see myself watching reactions to those slow parts either. So at most, I would be watching the great moments, and skipping all of the slow episodes. And I think a lot of people might feel that way. And I don't think that is what they want from their reactions. So One Pace could help minimize that problem as much as possible.

2023-10-20 23:57:50 +0000 UTCAs someone who has been watching One Piece weekly for well over 15 years and has gotten a lot of different friends and family in One Piece from suggesting both the anime and the one pace version, i have to say I think people who watched the anime and those who watched one pace are all super into the show. Labeling the one pace version on youtube may be a lot more annoying though (with the way they cup up episodes and add them together - not every one pace 'episode' are the same length at all)

Specifically characteristics of certain characters and events that's take place later in the show than were showed in the LA. BUT it was so successful because it portrayed enough the feelings and direction the show goes and I honestly believe is because Oda was involved the entire way. he was retelling his story the way he envisioned after he had come this far. You'll laugh , you'll get frustrated with pacing, you might cry ( I friggin did a couple times , sometimes in multiple episodes in a row) but I feel you guys will be happy you made the decision to watch One Piece, I used to dog it up and down for years until I took a sip. and now im caught up and watching weekly. Have fun guys you definitely earned my contribution for the next few years. Always a pleasure

It's not even WORTH considering until the Punk Hazard and Dressrosa arcs. Folks who are regular viewers not reactors, if they watch 2 hours of one piece (6 episodes), that's about a movie a night, and also skip the opening and ending themes, can get caught up in 9 months.

Things will go quite differently in the anime, so it's still going to be a fresh viewing experience. This covered 4 out of 5 arcs in the East Blue Saga. The easter egg is a character you'll meet in the 5th arc.

Ofc i dont wanna be a hater, i have been following u guys for almost a year now and there are soooo many animes i (personally) would love to see that im super sceptical about this decision. One Piece could really clog up this channel for such a long amount of time. Maybe start with one arc and take breaks between arcs? Or just binge one Arc with like 12 episodes a week? If u really like to start, please go for it and dont listen to one random guy, just stating some of my thoughts :)

Because there are some good backstories there. Like not for a main characters, but still very captivating and important message driven
