Chakra has its own system. Heart and brain most likely doesn't need to be big since theres no body that they need to operate for. He is a master puppeteer so he could have create all he needs in that small cylinder and chakra is the thing that connects to the puppet to transfer info. Short/simple explanation that is somewhat plausible.

But ur comparing kankuro to an old lady and sasori which both have MAJOR experience, both use the literal best puppets ever created, and both altered their bodies to be a partial puppet… they are both above KAGE level

These scenes where "it lasts three minutes" are the type of scenes that really feel much better in the manga. It happens all the time in lots of different anime and can kind of throw you off because you have to think "oh the last 10 minutes of the show has all happened in 1 minute in that world". But when you're reading it's just like oh those last 10 pages all happened in 1 minute, got it.

Ofc it just being a plothole is the most likely. What I said is just the closest explanation imo. Sakura crushed his body, not his head so we can't be certain that there is no brain and thinking without a brain would seem hard. Heart is all he needs I said, cuz without a heart, he wouldn't be alive and I could see chakra using the bloodstream to flow and w/o a heart, blood ain't pumping, so no flow (IF chakra uses that). 3rd I don't see how he would see and why we focus on the eyes, if he's not using them at all. Him using the his puppets eyes to see is the only easy explanation imo

Idk about that, when sakura crashed his body he didn't seem to have a brain so thats one thing, second things is how did you get from "chakra flows through the veins"- to -"so his heart is technicaly all he needs" 3rd point he does seem to be able to see but it doesn't imply he has eyes ill be honest sasori seems to be a plot hole,now with chakra flow i would agree cus ae know 2 things he can perceive visuals and he uses chakra so he can definitely get caught in a genjutsu

😆 Anime time and real world time don't work the same lol. I can tell you there is an anime that has 118 episodes that aired for about 2 years in real world time just for an arc that happens only 1 day in anime time. Don't be surprised. Some flashbacks are for the audience to refresh their memory cause they did not have the luxury to binge watch the anime and have to wait every week to watch the next episode. 😅 That last scene was Sasori aiming for Granny Chiyo but Sakura protected Granny Chiyo and got stabbed instead.

Once you guys get to a certain point in the anime, i think Ron especially would enjoy “the birth of the akatsuki”. Its a bunch of cinematics from one of the Naruto Fighting games that shows how the group was created. Although its not “official” cannon, its really well done, and shows all of the members being recruited. Although the majority of what would be the actual fight scenes is gameplay from the game… theres a youtube version that skips the gameplay and just shows the cinematics.

Sasori did have his worst possible match-up in this fight. Chiyo is probably the only person in the world who could go toe-to-toe against him as a puppet master and Sakura is a medical prodigy who made an antidote to counter his poison. Sasori would eat through most other people without much difficulty. Side note, just because Sasori was introduced so early does not mean he is weak. I don't know why so many people believe that.

In early Naruto they said that the chakra flows trough the veins, so his heart is technically all he needs to be using his puppet technique. Also since he seems to be using a brain and eyes, genjutsus should technically still work, since Jiraya said that genjutsu work by messing with the chakra flow

Yes, the mind is what gets controlled. I meant that the chakra needed to control the brain needs to be injected through the senses. In Sasori's case, a genjutsu user wouldn't know how to inject his chakra into his small and strange body and how to manipulate it. I'm not saying it's impossible, but likely impractical.

I wouldn't say Sasori (or even Deidara really) is among the weakest. Sasori is able to fight close, medium, and long range. He's armed all possible weapons with poison, he himself is extremely durable if you aren't aware of his one weak spot, he's also immune to genjutsu and fatigue in general. He may not have a power punch some other akatsuki members but he's definitely an all around threat

The thing is Deidara is far from weak , since you only se him fought twice , but in both of those fights he was fighting to capture his foe alive, Imaging what happened to the guards in sand village , you are heck strong but completly offguard and suddenly a spider attaches to your face an explodes like a point blank grenade xD Thing is all akatsuki are uber strong but are al so different in style hard to say that there is a strongest more like this one would have an advantage on this guy but is then weaker agains the other.
