I searched through the comments to know if someone explaine what Jinchuuriki means, but as I saw noone did it so far. So let me explain. Jichuuriki (or Jinchuuriki host) is a person who has a "Demon" (Bijuu) inside them. (for example Naruto has the nine-tails and Gaara has the one-tails,Shukaku, who you have met before with in the OG naruto when Gaara went rampage against Naruto)

I am so glad you started Shippuden. Naruto is good but Shippuden is on a whole other level. You will see some of the best characters in anime..I love that the show jumps right in with the opening scene with Sasuke and you get a glimpse of different members of the Akatsuki. I look forward to taking this journey again with you both!

You probably already have seen it in your actual up to date viewing but yes to demon and Gaara. Also Jinchuriki is just a term for someone like Gaara or Naruto. Basically a person with a beast demon inside. Thats all it means. Also the first few minutes of episode 1 is basically meant to be one of those things where it shows you “x” amount of time from now sorta thing. You are yet to watch that actual episode, it was just a little flash forward to tease you.

I just want them to have more of a fair chance at guessing of what will happen since they are watching the show after Boruto came out unlike the rest of us. Boruto tends to steer new viewers in the wrong the direction. That's why it's best for new viewers to just ignore Boruto exists or to treat Boruto like a whole different anime

FYI, that is why Jiraiya warned the other nations, to tighten their security. As you may or may not recall, when they explained the surrounding nations and how hokage's fuction, every nation has a 'demon'. The security is to protect the one carrying the demon to not get caught by the akatsuki, in this case. Everything will be explained in details further down the line. You will get more info on the boss you're so curious about aswell ;) The opening scene was a small jump forward in time, now we're moving back to the meeting with Sasuke Naruto Sakura and how they got to that point.

I actually agree with you because by viewer demand. I think even just one ep of Naruto is durable with their schedule they have upload days that are not too busy if they could squeeze in one extra episode a week I think they could. It’s the waiting after wends-day that kills me that’s 5 days until next Monday. It is kinda like NOOOO I need more. Hey as far as ages go, everyone from the original Naruto is about the same age except for a few characters. Naruto and everyone in the leaf village were all 12/13 in the original series so they're all around 15 in Shippuden. The exception is Lee, TenTen, and Neji, they were 1 year older than everyone else (remember Guy made them wait an extra year for the Chuunin exams), so they were all 13/14 in the original series, and now they're 16. Gaara was also 12/13 in the original series, but Kankuro and Temari were older. Kankuro was 14, so now he's at least 16, and Temari was the oldest at 15, so she's 17 in Shippuden now.

I feel like sometimes you guys overthink the pronunciation of things. Say it with me now Akatsuki = "Akat-ski". No need to say the su part. Sannin = "San-neen", Jonin = "Jo-neen", Madara = "Ma-dah-rah". Just pronounce it however you hear the characters pronounce it, that should help.

As for the seal being broken, one of the alatsuki member that’s hunch over as you’ve seen in one of the scenes put that seal on Yura who’s basically an agent and infiltrated the village as you’ve seen. As for the seal itself I’m not to sure what it is but it might’ve been something that used to help Yura keep his cover under wraps.
