2023-08-04 01:17:12 +0000 UTCok first im not asking for anything. go read the comment, nothing about it is a request. i literally made a small throwaway statement that i cringed out in the moment that was 100% ignorable and asked nothing of you. you guys have plenty of positives going, god forbid i mention something that annoys me(and others) in passing. just ignore boom, done. patreon comment section is horrible anyway. noone will ever see it. reactors still have basic expectations of 'professionalism' it doesnt need to be the most serious job in the world to have some definition of standards. for example a big one is talking about politics. you probably just shouldnt do that as a basic standard. sharing intimate details of your sex life or personal life is another one. if we dont agree on the line for these things fine...the whole reason it struck me was because as i was cringing, i realized none of the other couple reactors ive seen ever do their goofy(allowed?) pillow talk and their personalities and relationship come through loud and clear...and then with my power of commenting and sharing i made a quick throwaway remark.

We take our job serious for sure, but your expectation of us being "professional" is a bit out of place. I think you have false expectations of us as reactors. What you are asking is not for us to be "professional", you are asking us to change how we talk to each other, just to please you.

I have followed a lot of reactors on Youtube (Semblance of Sanity, Blindwave, Normies, etc) for their HxH reactions but I never subscribed to their Patreons because I could still tolerate the need to watch them lol But when I came across Rice and Ginger's Demon Slayer reactions, I already knew this is coming. I wanted to sign up for Patreon during the Attack on Titan reactions but my card wasn't ready at the time. I made sure it's prepared for HxH and here I am now! First time subbing for a reactor!

You really have to pay attention though because it's referenced a decent amount throughout the series. Maybe switch HxH with another show that you record earlier in the day 🤣

2023-08-01 22:52:09 +0000 UTCHell paradise's Tao, JJK's curse energy, all of recent power systems are inspired by this HxH at some point but Nen is just so much more 🥹 I still can't believe when I first read HxH in 2022, how its still relevant even though the series started in 1998... Anyway, about Nen, Ten, Ren etc I didn't bother remembering all the basic stuffs but once I read the fight scenes I understood it, so I think I'm much more a practical person 🤣 like in JJK, there are less basics explained so it was easier for me to figure it out by myself and confirm it by reading author's notes outside of the story. However, for other people it might be easier to be explained the basic first, like in HxH. So, I think it's okay to choose which one is comfortable, if you understand better with memorizing basic stuffs and taking notes then you might want to try it, but if not, I feel like you can just go with the flow for this show like what I did.
