Since the anime tries to be fluid in the episodes, you may come across instances like this one where it'll blend some of the previous filler episode with the canon episode. But rest assured you guys haven't missed anything important. You'll understand everything that's going on

You guys have to remember that Sasuke’s one goal in life is to kill Itachi and Itachi just disregarded him told him he was too weak . He was also number #1 at everything and everyone has been telling him this up until this point and now he feels inferior because Naruto is catching up to him so fast

2023-06-26 20:55:57 +0000 UTCThe reason why Sasuke is so angry with Naruto is actually very similar to the relationship between Bakugo and Deku at the beginning of MHA. Remember how Bakugo fought Deku in Season 3? Bakugo fought Deku and was angry at him for feeling threatened for seeing Deku getting stronger and stronger. And between Sasuke and Naruto it's not different. Sasuke is frustrated as he sees Naruto getting stronger. And remember how Itachi told him that Sasuke had to get much, much stronger to defeat him? Sasuke is desperate to get revenge on Itachi, but he needs to get stronger to do it, and seeing Naruto keep getting stronger and doing things that Sasuke couldn't do by himself (like defeating Gaara) frustrates and confuses him, as it makes him think he doesn't have enough strength to defeat Itachi and for Sasuke his revenge is the only motivation keeping him on his feet (just like Thorfinn and his desire for revenge against Askeladd) And about the fillers: fillers are never important to the main story, so you don't have to watch the skipped fillers, you haven't missed anything important. And cannon means that the content is related to the main story, which is the complete opposite of the filler. With the movies, it's a bit more complicated. There are some that are also completely filler, but there are also movies that are cannon (I have to admit I haven't seen all the movies, but one of them I think is cannon; the last movie called "The Last")

2023-06-26 20:28:50 +0000 UTC- The Fillers you missed are not important and are 100% skipable - Sasuke's brother killed his whole family tree, then recently returned to the village and made him watch it happen 1000s of times in 1 second with the genjutsu - On top of this his brother cared about naruto on his return instead of him + naruto keeps getting stronger and itachi keeps saying he's not strong enough - Alot of people underestimate the trauma you'd have after going through something like sasuke did(This is more so to people in general then r&g)

At the same time, naruto is stronger than him somehow, and he is wanted by itachi, its all about pride. Sasuke is always a genius and naruto can barely graduate from the ninja school. Sasuke is surely changed for being a avenger

Remember, naruto and sasuke have always been competitive with each other since they were little kids at the academy. I know they're teammates, but they still never really liked each other per say. And so far, all orochimaru has given sasuke is the curse mark, which just gives him a power boost as far as chakra and strength goes. Mentally, sasuke is still sasuke and has his own will and feelings. The curse mark kinda serves as a test of his resolve and desire for revenge/power. You'll learn more about sasuke's mindset as you progress through the show.

Just reconnect from Tsunade returned and healed Sasuke and he had just woken up from the psychological attack by Itachi. Right now, he is feeling weak compared to Naruto who has grown stronger. He still hates Itachi and Itachi does not even care about him because he is not strong enough to let Itachi even acknowledge him is what he feels. He feels he is inferior to Naruto and has to fight Naruto to prove he is stronger. Also the 4 with Orochimaru are the ones who created a barrier during Orochimaru's and 3rd Hokage's fight that did not allow anyone to enter or exit.

Naruto was treated as a failure who couldn't do the simplest of jutsus. Starting with the chuunin exam, Naruto is becoming the strong one while Sasuke feels weak. Inferiority complex together with his strong urge for revenge against his brother. As for the fillers, they all should be skipped. The flashbacks of the fillers shown in this episode is just to help highlight Sasuke's inferiority complex.

Hence you don't need to watch any filler to follow the story. Sometimes they try to force filler episode scenes inside cannon episodes, but they don't really add anything indispensable to the main story. If you get to watch some scenes like that, just ignore them.

Sasuke doesn’t like that Naruto was sought after his brother, the one he wants to kill, so it’s like he hasn’t been acknowledged by itachi and Naruto has. You didn’t miss anything. Also, remember orochimaru said the curse mark will make him seek power.

Not in the hospital than sent on a mission and then placed back in the hospital. Completely skippable. That being said my favorite arc is coming up with in my opinion the best opening song and animations of Part 1

His whole reason for living completely ignored him and made him relive the scenes of his trauma.

Itachi put him into tsukuyomi and made him relive his family's deaths over and over, after basically telling him he wasn't strong enough because he didn't hate enough. All of his effort to grow stronger hasn't gained him any ground against his brother. Also when they started out Naruto was way behind him and the worst ninja in the academy. Now Naruto has seemingly surpassed him. Also when the time came to save someone important to him again he failed while Naruto succeeded. I think Sasuke is pushing his feelings of jealousy and anger at himself for not being strong enough to beat Itachi into hatred. He is trying to funnel that hatred at Naruto because he doesn't believe Naruto got stronger, he believes he has allowed sentiment to make him fall back to Naruto's level. That's my take anyway.

And it's getting on his nerves. Also you have seen the 4 henchmen before, they where the one who put up the barrier when oroshimaru fought 3th hokage and afterwards helped orochimaru escape.

In my opinion they weren't that great and didn't make a lot of sense as far as what Sasuke and Naruto should have been able to handle. But canon is what's in the manga. And the manga this picks up immediately after Tsunade healed Sasuke rather than after the mini mission filler. Great reaction, and Sword of the Stranger for monthly movie!
