I'm not sure what the writer's intent was to have the audience fall for the side chick who gets rejected haha, but that's how it plays out. Maybe it was just so that they could sell more Rem figurines! but I understand the disposition of viewers at this point in the show. Personally, I find Emilia a more compelling and realistic character with her own inadequacies and imperfections. As great as Rem is, I know no one like that exists in real life lol She's an idealized person in many ways."

Countless times until he gave up, and he felt so guilty about it. 2) Generally speaking, there are seven deadly sins, they are pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth. Satella is Witch of Envy，one of the seven witches. Petelgeuse was sloth, one of the seven Sin Archbishops. 3)In the fight scene between rem, greed and gluttony, just before gluttony ate her, there are few scenes flashes real fast, almost a sec,a lot of ppl didn’t notice that, those are REM thinking about what she would have do with Subaru in the future, one of the pictures is REM and Subaru and their kids. ( I really suggest you watch it with 0.5x speed) those scenes are also come from another side novel call “if”, a story about what would have happened if REM said yes and ran away with sabaru back then in season 1 ep 18. 4) Season 1 was in 2016, and season 2 was in 2020, 4 years or waiting!

2023-06-22 18:55:57 +0000 UTCRe zero season1 released April 2016. Seas on 2 aired in July 2020. In January 2020 a director cut episode of season 1 aired. And the final episode of season 1(directors cut) ended with. "Who is rem" so we saw that and had to wait 6 more months for more. You will learn plenty more about the sins. A few anime use the sins as a story trope in some way or another. There is literally an anime named "The seven deadly sins" an anime you should definitely add to your list to watch eventually. If you know catholic history about sins you can understand more of what to expect but if you don't. Avoid looking it up and you will learn eventually. You guys are in for a ride this season. Excited to see more.

To answer your question Ron, Season 1 was 2016 and and season 2 was 2020 so there was a 4 year time gap between the 2 season. Such a long wait Additional thing to note is that if you watch the Directors Cut version of season 1, they added the Emilia "Who.. is Rem" scene to the after credits of the last episode. Hopefully season 3 will be as early as Jan 2024!
