So it kind of is and kind of isn't related to Nara being a place with lots of deer in Japan. Nara means deer in Japan which is why the place in Japan is called that and so since the Nara are a clan in Naruto them taking care of deer is kind of a joke/pun based on their name that had a function in the plot and went with the characteristics of the clan.

I know that they have a live outside of the Reactions. But 1-2 Ep´s more wouldn´t destroy their lives hahaha thats only 45min more. I am only bringing this up since Nara was mentioned. All the character names in Naruto have special meaning. Shikamaru's family name is Nara which is the town of bowing deer in Japan. Shika from Shikamaru means deer. That's why there is a lot of deer talk in that scene.

You can't be serious..If you read what I said I said they need to stop looking at the titles of upcoming episodes. It's one thing if you see the one you are watching currently (which is bad enough as many Naruto titles tell you what's going to happen in said episode before you watch it) but when they are looking at titles of upcoming episodes it directly spoils what's is going to happen in those episodes. SPOILER FOLLOWING THIS: for instance the episodes they are watching now are about Rock Lee possibly having surgery. If they were to look at some titles coming up they would give away whether Rock Lee will fight again.

Ahh I am excited for Monday lol, also on the "Real McCoy" thing, it goes back to prohibition. There was a rumrunner named Captain McCoy who was now to consistently bring in high quality liquor. With the prevalence of so much bad liquor, even liquor purposefully poisoned by the government to kill people (real thing look it up), he became famous or infamous for having the best stuff. So much so that it became a colloquialism for legit or top shelf items. So if it's the real McCoy, you know it's the best. And as always Sword of the Stranger for monthly movie!

An OVA is just a special episode (sometimes long duration and for selling). They're filler most of the time, but might be canon (like both OVAs from Re:zero). With Naruto, all OG movies are filler.

Will you guys be watching any of the Naruto movies? The best time frame to watch the first Naruto movie is before episode 107, since it would match up with everything you've learned about the story so far. I believe that would provide a better experience then trying to watch the movies after the show is over.
