It has technically only been a day or 2 since his fight with Julius. So people could easily see his proclamation of being emilias knight as not just being a silly boast but a serious claim that they now respect. Are you guys going to watch the directors cut for final episode of the season or just watch the normal episode?

2023-06-02 05:45:16 +0000 UTCBeatrice healed the internal damage. Because emilia is incapable. Emilia stabilized him so he could survive long enough for Beatrice to finish the rest. And the anime adaptation is based on the light novel. They just leave out some details that are further explained in the light novel. Not really spoilers to talk about stuff they skipped over that still technically happened or is relevant. A lot of anime stuff is up to us to figure out but in the light novel it's explained better. You can explain a lot more in a book then you can in a 30 minute episode lol. I am team emilia because of s2 and light novel stuff. But at this point in the story I 100% support people's opinion of being team Rem.

2023-06-02 04:39:24 +0000 UTCThe thing is some people like me haven't read or even got to season 2 yet or up to date with the story. Just in season 1 makes you like rem a lot to a point where there's no reason to not go for rem. Again, just by only having the context of season 1.

The affection imo is a huge stretch, she's been super cordial which is nice but.... personally I still don't understand

People are surprised that he chose the kind girl vs the obsesive one? Hope it ends in harem for every team's sake, but people dont usually change who they like in a heartbeat

2023-06-01 21:49:02 +0000 UTCI've never understood why people think Subaru is obligated to like Rem in a romantic way, especially when it's prefaced with an attack on Emilia. Subaru has made it perfectly clear that he views Rem as a very important, dear friend, and it's totally fine for him to feel that way. Just to be clear, I don't have an issue with people making fanart, writing fanfiction, or being vocal about who they ship together. However, I think it's important to remind the class that feelings and (healthy) relationships aren't transactional. Rem would probably sell BOTH of are kidneys if it meant making Subaru happy, but that doesn't mean he owes her a relationship, nor does it mean he'll develop romantic feelings for her. These are fictional characters, yes, but this isn't an Otome game. Doing nice things for the person you care about, while wholesome, doesn't guarantee you a spot in their heart.
