I have no idea what happens after season 2, but my own guess from the start has been that Felt will be the queen, Crusch will support Felt as the general or just overall prime minister or something. This is just my own guess, I just don't feel Emilia will be the ruler at the end of this story.

For those who like this theme and genre, I highly recommend reading the light novels, I hate to read but i gave it a go and i got so hooked and anxious while reading the story, it just gets better and better with each volume

So she threw them away because they did not belong to anyone who lived there in that time

Beside Rem, Ram and Beatrice, there were no trace of any "background" workers or maids in the mansion as far as we can tell. So the number to count seems easy to do, and when Subaru goes for Rem's room nothing was there. Ram even said that she was the only one working there. If that was just memory why would Rem's stuff disappeared like she was totally erased? Should the 25 squad unit become a 13 squad unit without mentioning the other 12 since they were taken by the same fog?

If the fog eradicate all memory/existence of its victims how are the able to know they are missing someone in their unit? I mean, Rem disappeared completely in memory and in the mansion as she never existed in the first place. and was it not the same with the merchant too, saying that they were no one riding next to them? That felt a little incoherent with the previous episodes, but I guess this was the best way to explain it maybe? Otherwise this was a great episode nonetheless, and we just never know what can happen with this show, I just love the paranoia that's been installing itself during this show when ''it goes too well'' XD
