He composed himself with rems help and used what he learned in previous loops to put together a strategy. He also used tactics for negotiation that were used against him in previous loops which made him seem very capable and impressive in front of the other candidates. Remember this is very shortly after his whole embarrassing display in the capital in reality. Time gets hard to keep track of with him dying and reseting sometimes Also I LOVE that you guys are already in the mindset of "oh God this is going too well. Something bad is going to happen." This show really makes you think happiness is not allowed. 🤣

This episode is completely fine by itself showing that subaru has learned from what was said/happened to improve his negotiation skills and as a person being able to stay composed as well as building hype for the battle
