2023-05-22 16:54:14 +0000 UTCAlso, 8:02 onwards, I think it wasn't the training leading upto the game, but the training the first and second years did after losing, rewatching the previous games (there were 2 CDs, one vs Karasuno and one vs Date) and doing what they can to get better so they can get their revenge next year :p

We know you have a schedule and may already be few episodes ahead and also due to your busy schedule you may not be able to go through all comments to see those that advise you about special videos like OVAs. I myself if I remember commented on every of the last 4 episodes Season 2 hoping you will take note about this Oikawa Seijoh OVA video and watch it together with the last episode. I do understand you may miss the comments so I simply reposted my comment on the next episode. No sweat. I did see others commented for you to watch the video too and unfortunately an enthusiastic patreon may have thought they were ignored, did not understand your schedule and got impatient. The Haikyuu fandom is one of the best ones than majority of the other anime fandoms. However, for everything there are always a minority that can be over enthusiastic. Please do not take it to heart and continue to do what you do. We love your videos and it was great you reached out so that everyone can understand your position.

The Haikyuu fandom is infamous for having super vocal minority of overzealous, overbearing folks that fling around hyperbole for every little thing that doesn't go their way when it comes to others watching Haikyuu. They surely haven't thought about all the scheduling and planning you both have gone through to post so much great content here on Patreon, and it's unrealistic for them to expect you to know about every OVA, etc., so it's good you had a chance to clear that up here! That being said, loving your reactions and content as always and I'm so happy you're reacting to one of my favorite shows ever! Much love!

You will see Oikawa in the near far future of Haikyuu. In the last scene, the 1st and 2nd years of Aoba Johsai are all doing their own training and letting out their frustrations about their lost and strive to win for future matches. In season 2, the 1st and 2nd years of Aoba Johsai watched Karasuno celebrate their victory against Aoba Johsai and they said to remember this scene and swore (in their mind) to defeat Karasuno next time and to not lose again.

I definitely would have enjoyed seeing yall react to this right after the last game - just so the feels would hit harder lol - but I completely understand scheduling and regardless we appreciate yall listening to us viewers and I'm glad you guys enjoyed it!! (and yes while the 3rds years worked off their frustrations with a final game of volleyball that last scene was showing the 2nd and 1st years each handling their own frustrations differently whether that's just yelling out in the bath or re-analyzing games)
