I was just thinking, AFO would probably want overhaul back on the board at some point. he could easily borrow his quirk, use overhaul to regenerate his hands/quirk factor, and then deposit overhaul back into him. That's a scary thought. Or worse, keep overhaul for himself

2023-05-21 06:50:50 +0000 UTCAs others have mentioned, up until now, every preview has ended with the narrator (usually Deku) saying the UA motto: Sarani muko e, Plus Ultra! 😥 Also as others have mentioned, Detective Conan has more episodes and still going. I think both the Conan manga and anime started roughly a year before One Piece.

I doubt even with the addition of Boruto will the episode count will match One Piece in the end. I do believe both are worth the watch though. Unfortunately you can't skip filler stiff like you can with Naruto and the pacing of One Piece is even worse than Naruto.

Serialized anime with a throughline story, though, One Piece is definitely one of the longest. Is Detective Conan considered to have a throughline story? It's pretty episodic too, honestly.
