Also, Though his "ability" is like a save state it is less like a video game and like an actual place with real people with real feelings and desires. Part of Subaru's character flaw is that he also doesn't see the people entirely as people and more as tropes or stereotypes.

2023-04-02 02:21:16 +0000 UTC@Kaiser - I mean, as of Episode 4, Subaru hasn't yet realized that he died (this time), and Ron seems to think that Subaru "restarted" without dying, so perhaps it isn't obvious for everyone? Why can't people let the reactors figure stuff out themselves, or at least wait until the anime makes something crystal clear? I don't really consider it a major spoiler myself, but I still think it would have been better left unsaid for at least 1 or 2 more episodes.

They're new to this series, and we're paying for a reaction, so it makes sense that they'd describe their thoughts using terminology and analogies they're familiar with. Besides, Subaru himself keeps using video game lingo, like calling Beatrice an NPC, so I don't blame them for having video games on the mind.

After second grade, I stopped being able to sit in idk an style. I’ve biked my whole life and at one point was doing 30 miles a day on my bicycle. But my legs are long and massive to the point I can’t cross them like that any more 😅
