January Release - Cult of Umiera

Hey everyone! The Cult of Umiera and our first ever group of Skycoaches are now out!

Cult of Umiera

Vicious undead bears and wicked cultists await the adventurers. A dark disciple has gathered his underlings and targeted a peaceful town—robbing its graves, killing and injuring the local guard, and kidnapping several townsfolk. Can the adventurers stop the cultists before they achieve their goal of sacrificing the townsfolk and creating the vile hollowed abomination, or will the corruption of Umiera spread across Sordane?

Skycoaches of Sordane #1

Found in almost every city, town, and village in Sordane, sky coaches are small airships used as a domestic taxi service transporting people and goods. The sky coach is an often-underappreciated but crucial part of many cities’ infrastructure.

Unlike other airships, sky coaches have their hulls enchanted to propel them: they typically do not have any engines or sails. This often makes riding a sky coach a quiet flying experience—it hovers through the air, the walls and floors creaking softly as the ship moves through the city. For this reason sky coaches run through the day and night with minimal disturbance to sleeping citizens. In larger cities, however, express coaches are a common sight, equipped with the propeller engines or miniature spell jet thrusters to improve their speed.

The drawback for sky coaches is the amount of maintenance they need. Typically being made from cheap materials and getting constant use leads to them degrading quickly, being scrapped and replaced with some regularity. Some larger cities are known to hand down their sky coaches to smaller villages with less infrastructure under the guise of gifts.
