To My Patrons from Joe Nobody, Please READ!

Hey all, I need to get some things off of my chest and I think you, paying Patrons, would appreciate hearing some of these things. 

The comic has become something amazing, I never knew it would become like this. The next chapter is chapter 30! And let me tell you, I have plenty more to go, I would guess this thing could easily get to 100 chapters.

That being said, if you go back and reread from Chapter 1, you will see that there is a lot of new content. Many new art slides and transitions were added into the earlier chapters, another narrative voice was added (but hasn't yet been consistently added to every chapter) and a Joe's Journal was added (but, again, this hasn't been added to every single chapter yet).

These are things that I wish were already completed across all chapters. They are revisions and I already know what they are, I just simply don't have the time to make them. As I have said since I started this thing, I am just a regular dude with a full-time job and a family, and when you combine this with a willingness to get this Elan comic perfect, you have where I am at now. 

This is the point of my post: Patrons: I am not going to rush this thing. I need to take my time to make these next chapters. As I have a lot of other things to touch up as well, the next chapter(s) will have to come out at a slower rate.

Second point: I definitely want to stress that all Patrons will receive the benefits of their tier level, and more. "More" is about your cumulative donations. So, for example, someone who donated $1 for 12 months would get a better gift than someone who donated $5 once. Someone who donated $25 for 6 months will get something WAY better than someone who only does it one month. Etc...

And I have a lot of cool Elan stuff to give out, real stuff that you can hold in your hand. I am going to make a real nice package and each Patron will get one. But, again, in time... Could be a year from now, I don't know, but I can give you my word that it WILL happen.

I have already started Chapter 30 and I can tell you guys that it is nuts. The comic itself is going into a different kind of direction. I believe I am going to start making longer chapters as well. And that may mean longer wait times. But that is the point that the comic narrative has reached. It demands longer chapters.

Remember that nobody owes me anything and as this comic may be around for year(s), I hope nobody feels any obligation to stay donating the whole time, if you leave, don't worry, that doesn't mean you are forgotten or off the list, you are on the master list of people who are going to get that package I mentioned.

You Patrons are the only people I would ever feel the need to explain myself to, because financial donations are a really cool thing and I do truly appreciate them and they truly do help to push the comic into higher levels of quality. But full disclosure, these new chapters and chapter-wide updates will take time. Lots of it.

This Elan comic is a creative outlet for a deeply disturbing time in my life, and in order to continue feeding that creative need, I need to evolve it. Thanks for the help!
