The week ahead
Added 2022-03-14 19:42:02 +0000 UTCMy nieces were visiting for much of the past week, but now that they're on their way home, I need to get back to work. For the next day or two, that may mean scripting out the dialogue for the comics pages I have thumbnailed, as well as the ones I haven't yet. The un-thumbnailed pages may have be more wordy than the current batch, so it will definitely help to know what will fit onto a single page. The sooner I get that all sorted out, the sooner I can start drawing it!
Speaking of drawing, I've been giving some though to taking on commissions, lately, though there's still several things I'm undecided on. I may only take on two at a time, so I don't feel overwhelmed. But if there are only two slots, I'll have to figure out how best to announce them, since the list might fill up immediately. I may also use a day rate instead of (poorly) estimating how many hours an image might take. And I have a feeling that by the time I figure these and other things out, a new contract could come my way and force me to push everything aside again.
