I could use another break from Daisy and the comic... The next page may only be two panels, if not a single image, but art block isn't making it easy to figure out the posing. Rather than force it, I'm feeling the urge to work on something else again. And since I'm been on a Haunted Mansion kick lately...
Disney's Haunted Mansion has always been one of my favorite rides. When I moved to Florida over 15 years ago, I even wanted to remake the ride as an Unreal level, which gave me an excuse to buy an annual pass so I could go to the park on a regular basis. I didn't get very far with the model, but it's still something I think about every now and then.
More recently, I figured that if I were to pick up that project again, it'd be much more fun to put my own spin on things. I figured the singing busts would be a great starting point, because they're just heads. I wouldn't need to worry about complex body rigs, but I WOULD be able to really test out my face-rigging tools and techniques.
...whether I will actually work on these, I haven't decided yet, because first I'd need to sculpt them. Maybe this can be the excuse I need to learn how to do that?
