I was hoping I'd have this sequence inked & colored by now, but it's morphed a bit beyond a simple sequence. With a few more panels to pad it out, this sequence could turn into 2-3 proper comic pages. Then there's the 4 or so pages I've already thumbnailed, where Daisy wakes up to find that her aunt Mercy has taken charge at the diner. From there, there are a couple of directions I'm tempted to go in... mainly introducing a new character as Daisy's assistant manager, and having Daisy go on a much-needed vacation.
Even if I only focus on the 7 or so sleep Daisy pages, balancing a comic with my contract work could be difficult. For now it might be best to focus first on drawing the entire thing when I have time, and then see if I can't ink & color a page or two each month.
