Stringing words together
Added 2020-12-09 17:41:14 +0000 UTCOne project I'd like to finish this month, is the follow-up to Toxic Candy, where Candice confronts her father. Apart from being busy all year, I've put this story off because I simply didn't want to draw it. I'd rather keep moving Daisy's story along, so taking time away from her to focus on Candice - even if it helps to flesh out the world - didn't sound too appealing.
Rather than doing this story as a comic, it'll instead be more of a novella, with some images sprinkled in to help set the scene. The story is already fully written - though I need to give it another look to see if it needs to be punched up - so all that's left is to draw the images and figure out where the page breaks should be.
There are a few other stories that may get the same treatment, for similar reasons - they're world-building stories I'm much more interested in telling than drawing.

Even if you're primarily an artist, worldbuilding by storytelling instead of artwork is perfectly legit. Rock on, man, you've got this.
