Tech Month?

Between Daisy's 3D rig and testing out Unity, I may focus more on technical work this month.  Or over the next week, at least, since I'll be up north.

It's been over a month since I last worked on Daisy's rig, so I'd say she's overdue.  I think her face was about half-rigged, so I'd like to get the other half in place so I can move on to the next major feature - either her breasts, or pose corrections.  Once all of these things are done, so is her core model.  She'll still need hair, clothes, textures, shaders, etc., but the core should be enough to help me create some rough sprite animations to plug into Unity.

Playing around with the Corgi Engine in Unity, I think learning how to script in C# may be unavoidable.  One of the first scripts I'll need to tinker with will be the player movement - currently it's basic, and with the right settings can be fairy Mario-like.  What I have in mind is influenced more by Sonic, though.  Not that I want Daisy to run through loops or up walls, but I do like the idea of her running without the player needing to hold down a button.  Like Sonic, she'd start slow but build up speed, though not as much.  That is, until her health is reduced to the point she loses her bra.  With no bra, she's forced to walk, otherwise she'd kick herself with each step...  unless, as in the Mario games, the player holds a button, which in this state would make her support her breasts with her hands.

...getting any of that to work is going to take a while.  Personally I'd rather pay someone to do the programming for me, but that may be out of my price range at the moment.

A game like that sounds like right up my alley. Scripting has always been my bane when messing with unity, you can do a lot without it but never quite exactly what you want.

at least in terms of animation. We'll see how far I get once it's time to plug them into Unity, or code anything...

Oh my god you're actually going for it

Run Daisy! RUN!

I've thought about it, but realistically I lack the name recognition and experience that are needed to make it work.

Maybe you could do a kickstarter for the game?
