So much for drawing, this past weekend... family was in town for the Daytona race, and I got stuck watching my aunt's dog. That would've been frustrating enough, but my aunt can also be a very condescending know-it-all, particularly if she starts talking politics and you try to fact-check one of the latest conspiracy theories she believes in. She can never be wrong...
This week I've started on my new contract, although the workload is pretty light at the moment - my first task was simply to reposition a character's arms to match the approved skeleton. With that out of the way, my next task is to look into Unreal's ART plugin for Maya, once the client provides it. After that it may be 2-3 weeks before any characters are ready for skinning & animation.
In the meantime, my next comic page isn't going to draw itself. The frustrating thing is this page isn't fully planned out yet, but the next one is...
