End of October, November Plans

So it's basically the end of October and I thought I may as well throw down the end of October review and my plans for November. 

So this month was definitely on the low end for overall productivity, between a few real life events, Fur Reality happening, and the fact that I just came off a lockdown last month for writing meant that I didn't get a whole lot done.  I still managed to get a few things finished and a couple hundred lines of code on Rain and Shine but overall this mouth definitely push forward a whole lot on things and was more of a conceptualization month.  To be fair that's what it was supposed to be, I knew especially with Fur Reality in the mix that I wasn't going to get a whole lot finished with essentially having a week with little production time.

Achievements for October is the forming of three total new books that are about to hit the marketplace; the long awaited How to Enter Dragon Heaven, The Taker Gets Taken, and A Brand New You.  Though I'm not sure if The Taker Gets Taken will be done in time the reason that the big push for new books is that I will be dealing at MFF and wanted to debut something new to the table.  I still have a couple of other books that are ready to go to but they either will not be edited or will not get cover art in time so I will hold them back for the time being.  Other accomplishments is a sizeable contribution to a collaborative comic between myself and Raven and the upgrade in my Twitch gear that will also help with other things.

All in all I'd say that October was an alright month, not great but definitely not bad either.  Though some stuff didn't get completed in the manner I wished it too stuff still got done and things are still moving forward.  Speaking of such let's take a look at November...

November is going to be BUSY.  The first thing is that another lockedown is going to be initiated, which means you're going to see far less of me on things such as social media and such.  I'm also tightening up my Twitch time so you're going to see less, if any, stuff done on weekends and that my gameplay windows are going to tighten so that I can get more commissions and such done.  The current plan is for these last few days of October to get some smaller stories done, then when we hit November it's going to be the game and all the longer stuff.  I also have two comic scripts to finish and I'd like to start my hypnosis inductions, though that will remain to be seen.

What you can also expect to see coming up soon are some upgrades to my business coming here pretty soon.  Thanks to you guys here at Patreon and those on Twitch plus the incredibly hard work of my mate we're going to have a bit of extra cash flow this month, a lot of which we're going to invest back into the business.  Besides the covers that we're getting for books we're also funding Void Protocol as well and getting myself a gaming chair for streaming and things like that.  We may also have another thing or two that we want to get but the rest is then going to be socked away to pay the taxes for this year.

One of the reasons that I want to get so many commissions and things done for now is because near the end of November we're going to do the 'Last Blast' of commissions using the old style of doing things.  We're going to take in the last number of commissions and that money will also go towards bills and taxes, then at the start of the year I'll be raising prices and going to my word bank model of doing commissions.  The word bank model will mean that my commissions are effectively open the entire time and the waiting list will be longer, but the time to completion should be drastically reduced and will allow people to get from paid to product much quicker.

So that's basically the plan, we have MFF coming up here at the end of November and there will be some time with holidays, otherwise we're going to make a pretty strong push to the end of the year!
