Found Nuclear Bunker with Vehicles & Gear

Time to go back underground. I knew about this bunker for quite a while, but never seemed to find the way in. With the help of my friends from Latvia, who helped me sneak in - I finally got to experience it. Apart from the main hall and the "poster room" being filled with random vehicles and junk, this is one of the most well preserved bunkers I've visited and is definitely one of my favorites.

Btw had to sneak in late at night so it was around 3am while I was filming this (and I was up since last night) that's why I seem a bit out of energy and not that well-spoken.

Hope you enjoy a bit of change of pace. Thanks for the support!

Your videos gave me culture shock. My ggma was a Polish survivor of a Soviet pow camp. My gma that raised me was born in a gulag outside Moscow. I’m really into ww1 ww2 history. Just one reason you make me absolutely swoon.

and then there is the chevy celebrity. Probably one of the worst cars from the '80s and '90s. I correct that: we also had the ford tempo. a shitbox in its day. A terrible piece of american machinery compared to the best at the time in america: honda accord. seat belts in the door was a way around the upcoming active restraints like airbags.

They've got on in the basement of the Peterson Automotive Museum, super crazy car.

The Chaika (big black limo) car was, during the Soviet times, exclusively for use for dignitaries and VIP’s. They are super rare and I have never seen one in person while growing up in the Soviet Union. The little blue car is an “invalidka”, basically a car made for disabled people with all the controls on the steering wheel and no pedals. The beige car that shiey called “Lada” is actually a Gaz-24 aka Volga. It was an upper scale car used by upper crust of the Soviet Union and not available for everyone. This bunker is just unbelievable!

Niceeee

That was a great one. Hope you are doing well! Things are wild with this plague, we're about to go back into lockdown here in Oregon (USA) because dingdongs can't stop going to bars and gathering in huge groups. I just don't get it. All I want to do is like you, gtfo into the wilds and away from folks.

Awesome video, thanks man

What a place still in perfect condition for its age, thank you

I know you typically bring a go-pro with you, but any chance you can take some high res stills of some of the random posters and stuff? I'd love to see the shelf building poster in detail

I’m not an expert, so if my terminology was wrong, forgive me. It’s still a funky vehicle and looked completely out of place among all those disparate vehicles. Intriguing to my sheltered existence. 🙂

technically speaking, tanks are on tracks, not wheels. it looks more like a small personnel carrier or some kind of more-mobile security sweeping vehicle. Vehicles similar to that, with the proper guns mounted, have been used as tank destroyers.

Those cars were cool. And the small tank, wtf?

Cool. That is a weird one. Some parts look clean and perfect while others are rusted out and filthy. I guess someone looked after it or are still is looking after some of it.

The phones alone in that place are ridic

very nice, thanks

thanks man

So spooky when you turned the lights off...

Can we all appreciate the bat cameo at 9:20? "Bathrooms"? More like "bat rooms".

Excellent! Can’t wait to watch!

I needed this today!
