ANIMATION - Ashes

I do love a challenge, and animating this excerpt from @Magarnon 's short story "Ashes" certainly took me into uncharted waters. I can't say I've ever animated an army before, and I haven't done 3D lighting in quite a while.
This was also an opportunity to explore a new rendering/compositing style that looks a bit more like an animated painting. I'm hoping to work a bit more with this style in the future, as I've always felt my high res animation lack a certain sense of texture.
