Full August Preview: Fortified Stalactite & Bridge Compound

Floating Stalactites Towers are released for August, our 7th and final month of exclusive month of Underdark content. This release is completely stand-alone and has multiple options for assembly and display. Each Stalactite offers 3 stories of interior rooms and multiple road sprue options. A 4th stalactite and faux cliff entrance will be offered as a 5 month loyalty reward through subscription has been released through MyMiniFactory (see details below). The models can sit on their points or be mounted on cheap but sturdy donut stands on pre-cut holes . Bases will also include a high cut base option if you want to run a water cave scenario with the bridges moving across water. Full PDF diagram available and break down video will be available shortly. Thanks to the community for requesting this and contributing many design and presentation ideas. I certainly couldn’t have figured all this out on my own in a month.

The stalactites can most easily represent some type of fortified residential or a mass holding area with some towers being used as guard towers and others as prison cells. Images will be updated and replaced as the stalactite gets painted. If you like the donut stands, they are available in many heights on AMAZON for 9-16$ USD, in groups of 4-8. They have square and round base options. Overall stability is higher with the donut stands but you will get more tree-in-the-wind effect with taller donut stands than you would with an elevated plexi-glass table. Simpler still, the stalactites could be set over a black cloth or some other "abyss" map to imply a fatal depth.

5 Month Loyalty Reward

The 5 Month loyalty reward includes a 4th stalactite with 3 and 1 road axis options and it will also include a faux cliffside entrance to the stalactite fortifications. PDF diagrams included but will need to be used along side this months release. These models are exclusively distributed through MyMiniFactory. They have recently overhauled their library system for those of you who have had negative experiences with file organization on there, it might be worth another look.
