“I thought I could at least be a mermaid like in the stories… I feel like the pearls are turning me into a fish..” Mona commented on herself.

“Well, stories are often exaggerated, maybe mermaids are just some rare fish,” Lumine replied as she caressed the scales on Mona’s back.

A month after Mona decided to continue the transformation from the pearls…

the only noticeable change that happened since then was the continued regression of her arms…

2 weeks later…

By now, Mona is seriously hoping that the changes to her body have stopped, she can’t possibly imagine what she would end up looking if the pearls continued to transform her body.

“These should be the last 2 pearls and we’ll just wait, how is your body feeling?” Lumine asked…

“If I ended up staying in the waters of the outside world, and people saw me like this, they would really mistake me for some mysterious fish creature haha”

She might be stuck in a fish body and aquatic lifestyle for now, but the assurance that it was temporary made it easy for Mona to embrace her current status as some freshwater fish.

To Mona’s knowledge, she have consumed all of the remaining pearls.

And to Mona’s knowledge, her predicament is temporary and would eventually be over.

Another couple of weeks later….

Lumine would gladly spoon feed Mona all the time, but perhaps the traveler had a very important emergency that she can not tend to her at the moment.

Mona didn’t even notice it, but her meal was already prepared nearby; The unusual thing is it was placed far enough that Mona will have to drag her body out of the water and crawl towards it,

a tremendous effort to demand from a creature of water.

Exhausted and starving, the meal that Mona crawled so hard to reach is finally in front of her, the fins that replaced her arms were useless other than gentle paddling in the water, so she had no choice but to directly shove her face to the plate and eat with her mouth.

Mona was startled when a collar was suddenly wrapping around her neck, before she could even react, the leash was already being pulled by none other than Lumine.

“ahaha that’s so cute! It’s like a fish crawling in the land, eating like a dog….”

Lumine commented as she eyed the creature in front of her from its head to tail.

Mona was speechless not because of shock with the sudden harsh treatment, but because she lost her ability to speak.

The effects of the pearls were concluded with Mona looking like a perverted blending of a fish and features of a woman, her human parts are reduced to simply her head and her breasts.
