Weeks after internal fertilization attempts were made, we finally noticed some significant changes, as well as some other unique effects which will be described further…
These were the result of her friend, Link, attempting to mate with her, months after her new found menstrual cycle was discovered. These results were even more noticeable after the second attempt, where they attempted to mate in the water of the reservoir, rather than on land like last time.
----------------------------------------------
As time goes on, and as her new life starts to feel more normal over time, Zelda seems to take pleasure in the “birthing” process she now has to undergo once every few weeks. So while it’s still largely uncomfortable to her, with her even stating that this will never truly feel “normal”, at least she can find some pleasure once every few months with her friend.
She has specifically gone out of her way to request that Link comes over once every few weeks to help out with her “eggs situation”. Of course, Link is always happy to oblige, and will do whatever he can to make Zelda’s life as comfortable as possible.
Sometimes additional assistants are required to help out for the actual birthing process, though usually it’s just an intimate moment between Zelda and Link alone.
At the end of these special birthing though, when Zelda is done mating with Link, we do always notice some slight changes in the structure and qualities of these eggs: While they’re still unfertilized, they do possess some unique qualities such as a drastically increased size, more vibrant color, and they even slightly glow in the dark. It’s also worth noting that with these different “radiant” eggs, the birthing process is a lot more enjoyable to Zelda, with it taking a lot longer due to the increased size of the eggs, and it also left her in total ecstasy when it happened for the first time.
She admitted at the end that birthing those bigger eggs was a lot more pleasurable to her than it was for the normal eggs, though it still felt largely unnatural for her as a semi-human. Regardless of all these efforts though, we still have not been able to successfully fertilize one of Zelda’s eggs, and so all we can do now is store them for more tests at a later date.

Final addendum:
in a fit of desperation, or perhaps in a fit of immense hunger, one of the researchers here took one of the radiant eggs, and decided to work it into a dish of his own design. Despite him getting reprimanded at a later date for breaking protocol, he did discover something absolutely invaluable. Not only were they a “delicacy beyond compare”, with him even stating that he’d never tasted anything this good before, we also later discovered some odd effects happening to this researcher. Just a few minutes after ingesting the egg, bright yellow beams of light began to appear from his hands, and an immense level of sacred energy could be measured from within his body.
It seems that, for whatever reason, Zelda’s special radiant eggs have the ability to grant the people who eat them the power to seal the darkness.
It’s ironic, really, how we sought out to help Hyrule by unlocking Zelda’s sacred powers, and now we can give these powers to whoever eats her radiant eggs. Upon hearing this news, Zelda cried out in tears of joy, as all her efforts were finally being used to bring peace to her land. Her role is to happily mate with Link at specific points in the month to produce as many of these radiant eggs as she possibly can. With the new knowledge that her eggs will help people all across Hyrule, Zelda has taken a lot more pleasure in birthing them, beyond the extreme levels of ecstasy she feels whenever this happens. It’s up to Link to prepare these eggs into special delicacies specifically designed for the people who are meant to ingest them.
Dishes with radiant eggs have been sent to key members of the Hyrulean royal guard as well as the four champions, though Mipha specifically, the champion of the Zora, has expressed some concerns regarding the consumption of these eggs. We later assured her that this is in no way cannibalism, as Zelda is now an entirely separate species from both the Zora, and the Hylians. It is for this reason though, that we can’t allow Zelda herself to ingest any of these eggs, as that would certainly break a moral code about having a mother eat their own eggs. Zelda doesn’t seem to mind though, as despite not having any sacred powers of her own, she is beyond happy to help out the whole world now in her own, unique way.
It is for that reason that I reclassify this experiment as a tremendous success, though it did come with a lot of unexpected surprises.
