The operation for the ‘lamia’ variant is relatively simple thanks to all the data gained from S-01 to S-05 mermaid operations; Snake type will only need a long and flexible body, unlike fish types that requires gills and multiple sets of fins to function.

Complete extraction of the arms and all related parts, (this includes shoulder, shoulder blades, and collar bones) will be required for s-06’s lamia transformation. Muscles are rearranged and replaced as necessary. Any and all traces of having arms will completely disappear to s-06.

For comparison, standard arm amputation will only remove up to the upper arm, this still allows the person to have little shoulder movements.

Analysis for the operation have concluded that extra body length for the snake body is needed, as a work around, the extracted arms will be converted for snake body extension. Outsourcing of foreign parts is out of the question due to body rejection issues, even with the laboratory’s advancements, it is very unstable.

S-06 insisted to settle with this conclusion, despite the difference from the fictional ‘lamia’ image, she suggested that this maximizes her experience.

2) Leg merging // 脚の融合

Legs are fused through surgery. Muscles are rearranged, kneecaps, and feet are extracted, and will be used as an addition for the extended snake body. The merged leg muscles are rearranged to act like an extension of the back muscles.

Remaining leg functions is significantly reduced, s-06 will only be able to bend her merged legs for up to 150 degrees at this stage.

Genital and anal parts are temporarily moved to the now extended lower abdomen, (former front thighs). S-06’s controls on her genitals and anus will be temporarily disabled until the complete conversion of her lower abdomen, all waste excretion are fully assisted until then.

3) Lower body remodeling [A] // 下半身改造【A】

Remaining leg bones are extracted and the tail bone is replaced by an extended spinal column, as a result, the entire lower body of s-06 will now act as a very fleshy tail. From this stage, S-06’s perception of her legs, crotch, and buttocks will slowly disappear and will be replaced by a perception of an extended abdomen and back.

The rest of the pelvis is maintained to allow s-06 to adapt to her gradually transforming body.

4) Lower body remodeling [B] // 下半身改造【B】

Improvement of the remodeled lower body is conducted as soon as possible to allow s-06 to fully adapt to her nearly complete snake body.

The pelvis is further modified. Using the converted bones from the extracted parts, hip bones are replaced by a rib like structure.

The genitals are finely transformed to resemble a snake cloaca, as per the personal request of s-06, sensations are also enhanced. The original anus is moved to the tail end, unlike the genitals, stretching the small intestines is far simpler than moving an entire reproductive system.

The lower body (former: hip and upper thigh region) are completed at this stage, the rest of s-06 temporary tail are fitted with sparse rib bones.

The original spinal column of s-06 is partially modified to increase flexibility and match her new lower body.

The final major body modification for s-06. Her obsession with her transformed body accelerated her adaptation to snake physiology, as a result, the final modification were performed 2 months earlier than the scheduled date.

S-06’s former arms are used as the main filler of the extended snake body, all of the extracted bones are restructured to become the extended spine.

-Artificial bones were used for the ribs in her snake body.

-Fats will be grown in selected areas to polish the shape of the snake body.

Personal request of s-06 is to add sensitivity to her tail.

6) Finishing modifications // 仕上げの修正。

To complete the ‘lamia’ or simply snake appearance, s-06’s skin will be modified to enable scale growth.

Eyes are also permanently changed to resemble snake eyes.

Majority of these are for decorative purposes, however, her wide underside scales are given attention to provide protection when s-06 is moving around.
