Discord server suggestions

I'm starting to set up a server and would like to know any suggestions or requests for anything you'd like to see in it. You can comment here or DM me, whatever you prefer!

We simp together so much and even have discussions on topics and differing opinions without getting salty. I sincerely enjoy their company π₯Ή. But thatβs just my thoughts. Iβm down for literally anything.

I've seen a lot of discords close or size down, let the community that actually shows up and engage show interest in what they want. I'd probably start with something like: A few channels for your info. "Where to find Bass" with links to your medias. Basically just advertisement, static page. Same for like "Commission info" "Announcements" (This one would likely be updated more often) If you ever stream, a channel to announce that. Then a few channels for chat and media. General chat NSFW Media SFW Media Maybe a creative writing chat (Its NaNoWriMo this month! But this chat is a bit more specific than others so far) Self-promotion (For your community to promote themselves one another specifically. Commisisons, etc) Potentially a SFW and NSFW RP room. Then just let it go from there and size accordingly/as interests show up. Personally I think people sharing food in the general chat is fine, but if we have a lot of chefs and its taking up a ton of space or people want a history then a food channel makes sense :3

2022-11-03 18:30:07 +0000 UTCDiscord server for cool kinky people B) A lot of patron servers I'm in have channels for different interests (like gaming, music, gardening, etc.), and I know that it's also common to have dedicated channels for posting art (either art that you commissioned or just in general). Personally I think it could be cool to have a section to talk about / share gear or something π As far as basic administrative stuff goes, the most important stuff IMO is a clear set of rules & things like pronoun roles :] it goes a LONG way to feeling included
