Day 7 & 8: recovery in kyoto

flu season is no joke- even with A flu shot, ive been laid up in bed for the past couple of days recovering from the crud. I was able to get into an English-speaking clinic with the help of some friends, and with the help of some stomach settling pills, it looks like I’ll be right as rain by the end of today! i was supposed to do the UNESCO heritage sites today, but thankfully I was able to reschedule the tour for tomorrow! ill be missing the tour of the fish market, but given that I can currently only stomach the most basic of foods, that’s not a bad thing.
tomorrows update should be far more entertaining and picture filled, stay tuned! ;)
