Easter Status Update

First off, all of the team want to wish you all a Happy Easter and hope you are staying safe, spending time with loved ones or otherwise. 

Since it's been two weeks now, we figured it'd be time to give you a short review about what's been worked on during this time.

We previously mentioned how we might not be able to add the new Top Down View feature in the new upcoming update, remember? Well it's pretty much decided now, that explorative game design element will sadly not be in the game any time soon.

It was simply too ambitious of a feature and it might be a step in the wrong direction.

Since most of you are looking forward to a more established "breeding mechanic" and more "breeding animations" anyway, we are going to give all our focus to those features instead.

Now obviously a lot of you must be thinking, “Well great, why’d you spend all that time on this weird new mechanic then? What was the point of it all?”

The idea behind it was to add more of an adventurous feature and proper “game-feel” to Breeding Farm. It was supposed to be an area of the game where you could encounter new NPCs, new environments, and monsters in a more fun and interesting way.

Above you can see how it currently looks. Not too shabby even right now, aye?

We might give this idea another shot at a later point when we have a better understanding of how it can be implemented, but this feature is going to be put on hold for now.We hope you are not too disappointed in that news.

At least now we’ll be able to focus on more things we know you all are really enjoy, such as the breeding animations and H-Scenes with the characters we’ve introduced thus far.

On another note, We’ve been optimizing performance of the game as well during this time. General FPS count has been something We’ve been wanting to improve, and We’ve been able to seemingly improve it by around 25%. So we’re very happy with that, and We think it’ll reflect well with you players who want to have a smooth play through.

what about a training system for the monsters? like a gym to up their strength, or a beauty shop the add to their charisma etc.

Hello I appreciate a lot your efforts on construction of the new mechanic but would also share some opinions. In my personal point of view, a H-game has a core for the H part and all the rest elements much be for serving this purpose. When people play games they seek for the feeling of achievement, like being stronger, beating the boss, getting better equipment, etc. but for H-game the feeling of achievement is only on one thing: more exciting H contents. Certainly a little challenge would make the game more fun but if not rewarded by H content often enough the game would then be frustrating. Thus my personal advise is that please put at least 70% focus on H parts and then add some elements as "decoration" only.
