Breeding Farm - Unity Version - Release

Hey guys,

It's finally here. Our first Unity build of "Breeding Farm".

You are probably wondering about what this is all about and why we've chosen to start over and create the game on a different engine instead of choosing to continue our work in Ren'py.

To put it simply: I and the team were not satisfied with the quality of the game's performance, and especially how the programming part was handled in that format. Adding something as simple as a new Monster or a new Animation to an update was an absolute pain to do, especially if we wanted to give those monsters any variety in their looks.

And since our animator at that time, LNSC, wasn't properly available anymore, it was better for us to simply start over right then and there with what we had before it got too late and became too much work for us.

So you might be wondering about now what new features this Unity version of the game has, aside from just some better code?

These new features include:

• Full HD support compared to only 720p before.
• All characters fully animated
• All H-scenes fully animated
• Particle effects
• Landscape Mode available on Android
• More variety in Monsters
• Zoom in function during Breeding evens (by mouse scrolling or pinching on Mobile)
• A better input system for the mobile version.
• SFX in H-events. (In one particular event at the moment. Testing the waters, so let us know what you think.)

Those are currently the main new feature in this Unity build. As for any new story content or events, unfortunately, this version of the game has none at the moment. There is only 1 new animated Breeding event compared to before.

We would still recommend you playing this version and trying it out since it gives a completely new experience compared to before. Especially for those mobile users who should enjoy it more, as Landscape mode makes it more fun to interact with those characters.

P.S. While this may have taken us the same amount of time to create a normal version of the game, we have the script completed and assets already being created for 4.1. With this new style we've adopted, it should take far less time than before, and we can begin work immediately.
