"Texting with... Riku" pt. 5

Bored, I drum my fingers on the steering wheel. Once again, I'm stuck waiting for a client to finish their business before driving them on to their next destination.

I try not to complain. Most of the time I really do enjoy my work. Being efficient, professional, being able to drive and spend my time around cars.

But, no job is perfect, and as a driver for other people you are still subject to their whims and demands.

As I sit there, contemplating banging my head against the window for entertainment, I'm rescued by a text message.

rikuBaby69: heeeeeey Mr. stickshift90! Riku has finally arrived at the museum!

stickShift90: Hey there, cutie. I'm glad you finally made it!

rikuBaby69: hehe, riku likes when u call her things like cutie! 😘

stickShift90: Oh yeah? I'll have to remember to do that more often.

rikuBaby69: yaaaaaay! Hehe

rikuBaby69: ooooo, museum is so big and fancy!

rikuBaby69: but riku has to wait in a loooooong line to get in! 😭

stickShift90: Oh no, how bad is it?

rikuBaby69: not super bad. There r many senior citizens, there must have been some kind of tour… awwwwww they are so cute!

rikuBaby69: awww, some of the men are smiling and pointing at riku! Hello kind older Americans! hehe!

stickShift90: Haha! I bet seeing you really made their day.

rikuBaby69: Thank u, stickshift90! U are so sweet!

rikuBaby69: one nice old gentlemen just asked me if i'd like 2 go out back of museum so he could show me anatomy exhibit! Sounds super interesting! But y do they put this out back of museum?

stickShift90: Riku, do not go with that man.

rikuBaby69: awwww, fine 🙄

rikuBaby69: riku will have to stream while she is here so she can bring chat on museum tour, guided by riku! It will mean her stream is educational now!

rikuBaby69: and chat could use some education! Sometimes they say not the smartest things!

stickShift90: Oh yeah? I wouldn't mind getting a tour of the museum by a cute little tour guide like yourself. I'm jealous.

rikuBaby69: Awwwww dont be jealous mr. stickshift90!

rikuBaby69: Riku will learn all about the museum and she will give you extra special tour herself!

stickShift90: You will, huh? I'll hold you to that.

rikuBaby69: Riku promises! Riku will even plan on wearing extra cute outfit!

stickShift90: Well then how will I focus on the tour?

rikuBaby69: Ooooo mr. stickshift90 is baaaaad!

rikuBaby69: what is mr stickshift90 up to right now anyway? Maybe he could come join riku at museum so she could give him tour 😉

stickShift90: God, I wish I could. I'm stuck waiting for a client to finish an errand so I can drive them to their next stop.

rikuBaby69: awwww, that sounds boring 😔

stickShift90: Haha, it certainly isn't the most exciting part of the job.

stickShift90: I guess it still beats being stuck in an office all day, though. At least for the most part I'm moving around and going some place.

stickShift90: Did Riku ever work anywhere before she became a big hit Kawai streamer?

rikuBaby69: awwwwwwwww, stickshift90 thinks riku is big hit kawai streamer!? U gonna make riku blush 🤩🤩🤩

rikuBaby69: riku had a few jobs before she became full time streamer. First job was working at coffee shop. Riku didn't mind it. But sometimes people were very rude 2 riku!

stickShift90: That's too bad. Yeah, sometimes people get really prickly about their coffee orders.

rikuBaby69: ya ya, and sometimes men would say strange things, like if riku could add some extra cream 2 their coffee cuz she had such big bomb-bombs!

stickShift90: Haha, oh no.

rikuBaby69: and rikus manager kept getting rikus uniform size wrong! She never fit in top quite right! It was always 2 small!

stickShift90: Its too bad tipping isn't a thing in Japan. You would have made a killing.

rikuBaby69: riku knows 😭

rikuBaby69: after coffee-shop, riku works at temp job at big office, but she not last long there!

stickShift90: oh no! Why is that?

rikuBaby69: buttons kept flying off of rikus blouse! And she got told her skirts were always too short!

stickShift90: Did your fellow officer workers end up dropping a lot of things and asking you to pick them up?

rikuBaby69: 😲! How did stickshift90 know this?

rikuBaby69: yes yes, men at the office were so clumsy! Luckily riku was there and eager 2 help them get their pencils and pens off of the floor!

rikuBaby69: but office manager let riku go, cuz she was a “human resource liability”! 😭

stickShift90: Aw, I'm sorry to hear that, Riku.

rikuBaby69: It's fine, after this, riku went 2 work at maid-cafe! Maid cafe was super-fun!

stickShift90: Maid-Cafe, huh? I bet you were a very popular waitress.

rikuBaby69: Hm-hm! Riku made so many customer friends! Some pay extra for private service from riku! And maid outfit was suuuuuper cute!

stickShift90: I bet it was, you'll have to send me pictures of you in it some time.

rikuBaby69: 😲 Mr. stickshift! So naughty!

rikuBaby69: Uggggh, riku is FINALLY though the line and has her ticket! Yaaaaaaay!

rikuBaby69: okay mr. stickshit90 and museum expert, you tell riku 2 go see Air and Space part of museum, and she is walking that way now, but which section should riku go 2 first?

rikuBaby69: the ww2 part with all the pretty airplanes?

rikuBaby69: The concord exhibit? Oooo maybe riku will finally join mile high club, lol! 😘

rikuBaby69: ooooo, mr. stickshift they have big rocket and space exhibit! Riku does not know why, but she has always really loved the look of a big, long straight rocket!🤩
