1# Devlog

Hey-o everyone! Hope you're all doing well.

I've got some good news to share! I've finally got myself together and started my work on the script for the next project, and I've written around 500 lines and that much only covers the basic introduction of the game. I don't really have a scope of the size of the first chapter, but I want it to be big!

The first chapter needs to be fulfilling and should give you all an idea of what this game is going to be. So that means I have to make a proper first release.

Anyway, let me give you more details about it. First of all it is going to be a visual novel with no sandbox in it, I again will try my best to make everything optional as possible, but this time around the choices will be more focused on story and their consequences rather than do you want to be with this girl or not.

You could be able to kill people, spare them or make them suffer and all that is going to affect your character. You can also lose your friends along the way or can prevent their death with your choices, but again it is going to cost you something if you manage to prevent their deaths.

I want to try and give that feeling of choice on the first chapter, so you all can know what kind of game you're going into. After the first chapter, which is going to be just a big introduction, our main story will begin. I want to tell a real story this time, but I don't want it to be just a bunch of lines of dialogues where characters just sit and talk or explain the story. I want the player to see it, engage it and most importantly feel like that it's all natural.

I hope I can achieve this vision I have, and I sure will try my best to do so. It might take me a while to finish it, but I'm sure it is going to be worth it.
