PMAtreon Update
Added 2024-09-17 01:59:11 +0000 UTClil update: theory's confirmed and Patreon's withholding upfront charge due to the november change. on top of not being able to deliver what I promised due to Patreon guidelines, I've decided to switch operations to SubscribeStar. currently getting the backlog reposted there.
despite this, I don't plan to completely delete the Patreon, but instead just retire RKF off Patreon and keep NO and RTS while SS will be the main platform with all three tiers. I've also been considering adding Ko-Fi to the list with the same tiers/rewards/setup as the Patreon (NO and RTS only), while also utilizing Ko-Fi's shop feature for any digital downloadables I make. not only will it provide options for people but also it will probably be the only way I'll tolerate giving into Patreon's subscription billing, that way I can get upfront charging from all the runners. patreon/kofi will be sub billing, while SS is upfront charge monthly billing that hopefully WORKS.
(unsure whether to operate the sticker club across all platforms or make it an SS exclusive yet, opinions welcome)
with these plans in mind I've pulled the trigger and switched methods here and will soon terminate the RKF tier soon, likely when my backlog on SS is complete. announcement for that to come.
to my current RKF members who may or may not switch to SS when the time comes, thank you so much for your pledge to begin with, it's been a pleasure.
