2026-02-08 03:31:51 +0000 UTCMy wedding was actually really nice and really expensive but I didn't have to pay for any of it. I didn't even want a wedding. My husband and I went to the DMV at our local mall and got officially married there that's all I really needed. But then my sister who was rich said will you have a wedding if I pay for absolutely everything. I really didn't want to but my husband is an only child and his parents are pretty traditional so I knew they would really appreciate an actual wedding. It wasn't really my style because I figured since my sister was paying she should get to pick pretty much everything because my husband felt the same way I did we knew it wasn't really for us it was just for our loved ones. Throughout the reception I kept getting compliments over how nice and tasteful everything was and it was a great day with a lot of amazing memories and I got to celebrate being married to my best friend. We've been together for 23 years and I think being married and in this relationship is the best thing that will ever happen in my life.
