I stopped watching after season 2 or 3 a long time ago, but when i realized you had the rest of them on your patreon I continued the journey. Now I'm sad it's done. Thanks Leo for making this an enjoyable experience.

The whole fight scene (starting from when the mind flayer reveals himself to when vecna gets impaled) took 20 minutes. That’s average for a final act on most movies. As for why it was so easy I agree, why they’re weren’t any other creatures? (But we know the real reason they would’ve struggled REALLY bad against probably 1-2 demagorgons alone since theyre immune to everything but fire and the characters are all powerless except will (which he only seems to be able to use in dire situations). but in terms of vecna, he wasnt 1v1 anyone. He was being fought around by el (which he almost took out if Will didn’t intervene), plus extra damage to the mind flayer that the crew pointed out. So yes the fight to me was not perfect, but to me it’s understandable and reasonable. As to why the later seasons felt a little less immersive was because the first season was all based off of mystery. We didn’t know what things were, why they’re weren’t were, and how. As we move forward with explanations it’s more of a how they work instead of a what. One theory I read was that”how come in the first season the vines would kill anything that moved and the bad and the demagorgans were there and now they’re walking around no problem” to that, I just say simply plot purposes. Sure we can probably say since vecna was in his mind state he wasn’t really worried about what was going on in the upside down. Now in terms of where they decided to go with season 5 should have been better tied to season 4 (where the end looked like apocalypse, to “people are riding down the metal sheet covers” not the best season def not the worse. I’d probably rank S1,S2,S4,S5,S3 ( I only really liked Billy’s implementation and the battle, all the Russian stuff was just eh to me) that being said if you watch each season they are all really strong which says a lot about this show. Which is why it’s ending is the reason we have such high expectations. Thanks for listening to my Ted talk lol
